IGN actually gave it a 8.4 I think. I treat IGN the same way I do "rate my professor", by trying to spot the biased, and then if I don't see any then I'll trust the review.
I gotta say, watchdogs is without a doubt game of the year material, I actually had a ton of fun playing it on PC.
And I haven't seen any glitches unless I purposely go out and try to **** something up, like sticking an SUV on top of sports car, then driving the sports car into a crowd of people.
When ever I see glitches in the game by youtubers its always like "OH GOD I SPENT 3 HOURS TRYING TO **** UP THE GAME AND I DID IT! HUR DUR WATCHDOGS SUCKS XD!"
Game is fun, runs ok, story line is good, enjoyed.
Like Fallout with hacks and cars; 9/10 - FJ User
I don't really get the guys saying it's good i mean it's basically their E3 Trailer onlyHOLY **** YOU CAN BECOME A GIANT ROBOT SPIDER 10/10 BEST GAME EVER
No its a terrible game, and you have terrible taste, the AI is absolutely retarded. there are little to no driving physics. and they are Vice city at ******* best. if you take sleeping dogs driving and **** it up real good. you get Watchdogs, i slammed a car at 80 miles an hour. and it dident even ******* dent. oh. and one simple function like jumping. cant even be achieved. The city feels completely dead and lifeless, the story was wrote by an 8 year old. the game is just so ******* bad. and the graphics...im not going to get into that. jesus **** .
What pisses me off is all the **** thrown at WatchDogs and Falllout 3 still got a free pass. Not saying I hate it, still a fun game, but damn I've run into bugs without even trying to break the game, for example I now have to redo the Pit DLC because it randomly corrupts my save file and forces me to restart from a previous save. And WatchDogs is relatively new and will probably be patched, meanwhile Bethesda games wait and let players actually fix the game and UI for them and I hate that. Open world games have been made with less bugs but Fallout and Skyrim get a free pass for no reason.
Ya, Fallout 3 really has some game breakers, can really **** up the game, happend alot for me.
But for its time?
Holy **** thats a good game, not so much anymore, I much prefer fallout new vegas.
Ya don't know why I put Skyrim there, it's good for not having a lot of issues. The fallout 2 one though, it just irks me so bad that games get **** for not fixing a bug that people are purposely trying to find in a game that's fairly new, but Bethesda are praised for a game that's a few years old and still having gamebreaking bugs that they don't fix and I have to wait for a user mod to fix the game. FO3 was just a really unstable game imo and other open-world games proved that bigger size =/= more bugs.
You just proved my point.
If you though Ubisoft was supposed to be plural, you would have said "Ubisoft aren't just one development team"
And if you were talking about multiple Ubisoft teams, you should have made it plural. Like saying "Ubisoft teams..."
Want an even more hilarious glitch? Try repeatedly turning the train on, when ever it stops, use the hack to turn it on again to get going, You'll eventually catch up and glitch yourself into the next train in front of you, knocking you around till the train moves.
I usually don't either, but i think Nintendo just about won E3 Hands down this year. They're releasing a lot of good games. Its making my consider to buy a Wii u
I suggest watching their E3, I got hyped for a lot of their crap, even if it wasn't stuff i followed.
Zelda game with the size and content of Skyrim (I think it'd be the new skyrim.)
Zelda Dynasty warriors
Xenoblade X (Basically an anime-ish Gundam game)
a few others. Only game i was meh about was the ink game.
Holy **** this game is so ******* bad. I was in denial until I beat it and the ending was so goddamn ****** . The spoiler ahead isn't going to ruin the game for you with details about actual story (which was so goddamn uninteresting it hurt), it's just a tidbit about the format of the ending: There is a good ending and a bad ending (and it doesn't matter what your status is, you just choose). In the good ending, you choose not to shoot someone who has been beat the **** up, and the credits immediately roll while "Wake Up Sunshine" by Chicago starts playing. THAT SONG IS TOO ******* HAPPY AND GOES AGAINST THE ENTIRE TONE OF WHAT HAPPENS IN THE LAST 45 MINUTES OF THE GAME But really, this was not the next-gen experience we were promised. If they pushed it back to May to "improve it" then I would not want to play the game that was supposed to come out in November.
There are no driving physics (the only mechanic is oversteer) and the focus mode while driving makes small turning adjustments impossible. I've experienced numerous problems with the absolutely retarded AI.
It's just so bad. Dunkey's review really says most of it, and he didn't even talk about the horrible ending (which is beyond unsatisfying).
Why am I getting red thumbs? Do people actually think this is a AAA title? It would be if it came out two years ago. It's a glorified Assassin's Creed; nothing more.
Yes, I am butthurt. I spent $60 on a game that I thought was going to be a new and exciting next-gen experience.
pic related: it's the developers regurgitating the same mechanics from AC and Splinter Cell.
It may just be the conversion or the specific settings for this person, but this specific .gif looks like a recording of a Nintendo game from 2000...
I've never played Watchdogs, so I have no clue what it looks like normally.
