too close, sure was, and why not just buy a pool noodle, and add it to the landing legs, even a small amount, can keep it afloat, and it will not do much to the battery life, nor the performance.

just put a small bed of polystyrene feet on it, it wont sink and it wont compromise the weight or stability, also it'll have a softer landing on any surface...

Just a few days ago a drone slammed into the roof of a small shack as i was walking past it, from what I could see It was mostly intact except for 2 rotor guards that had broken off.
