That's not fireworks though.
That's a wire with lit up steel wool swung around and shot by a long exposure picture.
Yo get yo' facts right bruh

He got arrested for this because you can't fly a drone that high.

Not just that, there were other stupid as **** reasons too.

One I remember is that the drone COULD HAVE got hit by a firework & become uncontrollable & hurt some spectators, or a firework COULD HAVE hit it & ricocheted into a crowd.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not but those are legitimate reasons, and while the chances of that happening are about 1/10,000 still if drones for some reason become affordable and 10,000 idiots do that then fireworks no longer are safe.

By that logic youre saying that a person not being able to bring a gun to an airport is a stupid law, because they COULD potentially hurt someone, not that they will

That logic is flawed, a gun has a safety and will be in a proper holster provided someone with some sense owns it. This drone is in the middle of a firework display and the potential to cause damage is quite high and unnecessary.

That seems like an incredibly risky thing to do.

What if one of the firework hit the drone?

Find a drone with this quality of a camera and tell me the price. Try to find the cheapest drone with an actually high quality camera on it. A good drone too, not some ****** plastic one.

how about buy one of the ~150€ priced drones? most of them have a gopro with hd vid, and the range goes from 300m to 1km, depending on model.

Buy them separately to avoid being overcharged on a camera, do some DIY, and you're golden.

We have a quadcopter at my school and I get to fly it every so often. You can either just look at where you are in the air or put goggles on to have a first person view . It has a gopro attached to it and that's how it sees, but in the "demo" of the goggles you only get standard definition which is kinda ****, comparing to how i've seen 4K cameras and ****.
