I have an older brother and damn was it a ******* pain.
If I wanted to sit at PC at least once a day I had to wake up before him without any alarm since we slept in the same room, and I had to dress up quietly so that he doesn't wake up and capture the chair. Hungry? Must pee? Say goodbye to PC. Yes, I don't know what is it like to have an older sister, but im very much sure I would prefer that
I had both bros and sisters and for some reason i got on better with my bros.
My sisters were like a nightmare, They were my dad's favorites and were full on misandrist sjw types.
They did everything in their power to make me and my older brother be the outcasts of the family(and they succeeded)
went so far as to harm people we knew, girls we dated, and even stole money and things from us. Whenever we'd call em out they'd hide behind daddy's protection and cry whenever they were cornered.
Funny thing they're both older than me by like 3-5 years and both yet try to act younger
As an only child, my big brother died but didn't really get to know him so it's like I've never had a sibling that sounds to me like your sisters are spoiled cunts, I don't really think that counts as a standard brother-sister relationship....
My brother is about 5/6 years older than me, and he isn't like most brothers. You know, every older brother does **** to younger ones but still they have something interesting now and then.
My brother on the other hand was a disaster. He wasn't very mature. He once hit me in the stomach so hard that I passed out in the middle of a street or left my 8 year old ass alone at home during a storm.
He's also the reason that I was afraid of dark(ness?) because he used to show me horror movies when i was really small, not to mention that we had toilet outside and he would occasionally hide outside in the dark and jump out on me.
I'm sure having a sister would be a trouble too, but i imagine her being a lot more caring than this
well i can't say the same for everyone's sister since not all people are the same but from my experience and the experience of a few of my friend's with sisters it's hell. I'd trade both my sisters for 4 of your brother in a heartbeat
I'm 17 and my brother is 6. It's pretty great cause I'm autistic as **** and so is he, so since I never leave the house and he likes vidya we're best buds. I guess it's cause I never grew up around him though.
In other cases, I would admit that also sucks.
But my siblings are little human disasters. I've seen these kids do just straight up awful and destructive things.
My little sister busted herself through a wall in our house Kool-Aid man style.
Her and my brother tore a ******* bed apart in 5 minutes right after my parents had built it, screws and all
They tore open one of our TVs to the point where you could step inside of it and look around.
Not to mention they're trying to murder each other every five seconds. I cannot tell you how many times i've had to stop my sister from strangling my brother, we're talking her sitting on his chest, both hands around his throat with full intent to kill him.
it's just constant chaos, bro, they ruin things in ways you'd never guess.
No, trust me, they get disciplined all the time.
They just don't give a **** .
As long as they can still walk, move, and breathe, they won't learn a goddamn thing and continue destroying everything. My parents have me watch them a lot, and let me tell you, just being around them takes effort to just keep yourself alive.
My brother and I were supposed to be sleeping in our separate rooms. He called my name so many times probably for about five minutes straight, but I was trying to sleep.
"cantfindausername! cantfindausername! cantfindausername! cantfindausername!"
So many goddamn times. Relentless. Absolutely relentless. I finally get out of bed to go find out what he wanted.
"What do you want, facefoot!?"
"Can you turn off my light? **** you, dude. Love you
middle child here I get away with so much **** because they're always more worried about the other two although my younger sister could get away with murder
Both of my older siblings are twins who just turned 21
It sucked until I was 13 because I took after mom's side instead of dads, and Based Austrian genes blessed me with 6'4 instead of 5'10 as well as the ability to put on muscle and facial hair and completely lose out in the social skills department but it's a worth it trade
You don't know true power until you're 16 and booting for your 18 year old siblings on the premise of "Just buy us a bottle and I'll get you that Dark Souls **** or something, we told Sluts1-5 we'd bring the booze this time"
Friendly reminder to any of the older siblings on this site (especially to the introverts and asocial people) that it's important to be a positive social role model to your younger sibling. I've noticed a lot of people on this site have a negative outlook on life and society and that it's your job to make sure you overcome feelings of low confidence and perception that you are unable to improve your circumstances. Speaking out of personal experience.
I don't get bros. Sometimes we have the best times of our lives and roll on the floor laughing. Other times, we edge to actual physical fights and feel genuine hate.
There's a 10 year gap between me and my siblings. When I was 5 I told my brother that I was hungry, who was babysitting me. He took me into the kitchen, tossed me a loaf of sliced bread and said "enjoy."
I had bread for dinner that night and got to watch my brothers and all their friends play Halo: Combat Evolved. It was a good day.
Once I taped my brother to a chair so he would eat breakfast
As the oldest (of two children) it's my responsibility he doesn't die or whatever
My parents were not happy
Not to mention everything was always my fault b/c "I'm the older one, I should know better"
**anonymous used "*roll picture*"** **anonymous rolled image** Man, having a brother and a sister, me being in the middle, was just hell to me.
It would almost be every day they would be fighting. My sister was a **** and always tried to annoy my brother and I. My brother and sister would start fighting, which would sometimes end up with a brutal brawl between my older brother and younger sister. Every day it was like this. I could only just hear the violence that occurred between them. I tried to stop them once and got hurt myself in the process.
If you saw them now, you would think they weren't that bad. Trust me, it was hell.
Middle child of three sons. Can confirm all of these. We absolutely despised each other's company when we were younger. Now we've all either gone to college or moved out. We now appreciate each other's company with a cold sense of mutual respect.
All while still **** talking each other endlessly.
He was the scumbag older brother since I was a kid, you know, the type "I'm older, so i decide" and "I'm older so i choose the best toy" (parents agreed to this) and "Tidy my bed and make me breakfast or i won't let you use the memory card" or "I need to delete your saves in Digmon so I can save my custom made teams in Fifa and PES".
He eventually married some bitch, who me and my mother didn't like, they left to live with her parents. 1 years later he came back and is going to divorce the bitch, now I have to share a room with him again... except this time, tables have turned, I'm 23, he's 27... the room is mine, he sleeps on a cushion, the bed is mine, PS3 is mine, PC and laptop are mine (I ******* paid for them) so whenever he used my PC he could only use the "Child's account", eventually he bought his own laptop, he also owed me £1250 (1000 for some investment where he promised I'd received much more back afterwards, his business failed, and 250 to pay some license for his current job), which I'm making him pay back (£50 every month). He's asked me for more money for other stuff recently, but I denied it, he won't get another coin until he pays back (still 18 months to go), brother or not, he's still just another human.
The TV part is so damn real and terrifying. Try living with five other siblings. It's a blood war every night. Plus that's also the main reason I didn't watch dragon ball as a child.
