I finished 1984 in the middle of a crowded train yesterday. I spent minutes just looking around wondering how everybody else could just keep living as if nothing happened.

I don't blame people for not reading books even if they don't have a disorder like ADHD.
There's just too much stuff going on nowadays that it's hard for especially young people to focus on one thing for only.

Hell i can't even listen to an entire song without skipping to the next one.

This looked really disturbing while the picture was loading. At first glance, the thumb looked like the body and head of a fetus, Sheen's thumb and finger were it's arms, and it was connected to another body of flesh, like that thing from Slither, and it was picking something up while eating the guy on the shirt.

And here comes the book's natural enemy, the Common Reading Tablet. They are slimmer, lighter, and have the power of many books in one. There are several species, each competing with each other. Though only appearing in the book's habitat in recent years, they are already beginning to threaten the book's existence.

I like books though, I love the smell and sound of opening a brand new book, I like being able to see and feel exactly how much I have left, I leave books around my house to read while I'm doing stuff (especially taking a ****)

I'm sure I'd enjoy a kindle or something similar too, but for the time being, I'll stick with my physical books
