If there were more like this, THEN, we'd have a problem. And by more, I mean all the rest.

its technically an error, though Im sure they are aware of the situation, and aren't taking actions to resolve it..

The whole process is probably done by machine
imagine the sandwiches are made 10 foot long..., and sent down a conveyor belt in a long line (with end pieces every 10 feet), now this conveyor belt chops the sandwiches every 1 foot.. this would mean 1/10 sandwiches would turn out like this. However it is unlikely all of those have the ends placed between the sticker, and those that dont likely get filtered out by hand at the end of the assembly line by a human who visually inspects them as they go by.... which by my estimate, puts the odds at receiving a defective sandwich about 1/40 (I assume the QC inspection probably gets atleast 75% of the bad sandwiches)
