The first airbag patent was made by an American 3 months before Walter Linderer(German) patented his.

The first mechanized automobile was steam powered, and was in fact developed by a Flemish(related to Germany, but not of German origin) man named Ferdinand Verbeist.

The first mechanical printing press was made by Chinese printer Bi Sheng between 1040 and 1048.

The computer one is 100% false simply because there were so many computers created around the same time, with different purposes. But the first mechanical computer is almost universally agreed to have been created by Charles Babbage in the 1820's.

Contact lenses were first thought of by Divinci but were created in 1801 by Thomas Young.

The first recorded manned glider flight was by Abbas Ibn Firnas in the 9th century.

The helicopter was created in assorted incarnations since 400BC in China, but the first manned flight was by Ján Bahýľ in 1901.

Sorry, no. I can't allow the Her Majesty's Empire to be usurped of one of her finest technological accomplishments. Johann Reis didn't really invent the ''telephone'', he created a device that could transfer sound in the form of a single musical note. Alexander Graham Bell received the first US patent for the telephone in 1876... for actually transmitting speech. A beep doesn't count, you pesky krauts.

Jeans one is incorrect. Firstly, Levi Strauss & Co has always been a San Francisco company. Jeans were invented in the United States, and are thus not a German invention.

And the inventor of riveted jeans was Jacob W. Davis, a Latvian immigrant.

Also the invention of the jet engine is contested between Hans von Ohain and Sir Frank Whittle.

Good comp OP, would have been better if they were in order by time that way we could see how things progressed. Still thumbing though. +1

Scanners came from German Hell in 1951? This sounds exactly right.
