This is a sob story, and I have to tell it.
I had a boston terrier that I had for 8 years, he kept me from stressing from school, test, suicide. And we had to put him to sleep the day before Christmas Eve. I named him Dragon Fly because Spyro has a dragonfly that would guide him so it was fitting.
The cause of death was he fractured his spine which was like me breaking a foot, and his entire spine slowly broke. And there was nothing left but jelly that was once his spine. He completely lost the ability to use his arm, and leg. There was nothing we could do, we wasnt rich, and it was obvious we was too late.
I took this picture the night before taking him to the vet, and I laid beside him on that blanket not caring how bad it smelt like piss and **** , and I would pet him and made sure to put some water in his mouth, and hold him when he starts getting pain attacks from his spine. And what I love about dogs, is that. You are their world, and they will love you no matter what. I can't imagine my life without him.
He was my best friend. I hope when I am in my death bed, and walking into the light. I'll see Dragon Fly run towards me and guide me towards heaven pearly gates. And I'll catch up with him about play time. Because the best thing I ever had is buried right now in my front lawn, and I really wish he was here with me in 2016.
