Goddamn it Johann

That kid was Adolf Hitler.

people blame adolf hitler alone for the holocaust, but do you think anyone like that could rise to power in your country right now?
no, they probably couldn't.
because in order to lead a country, you need to have the people at your side
adolf didn't commit a coup, he was elected.
he was chosen by the german people.
the german people supported him, even though they probably didn't support the consentration camps, and the murder of all jews, they did support throwing out the jews, they did support him leading the country
and they did support hitler.
the german people were responsible, as the american people are responsible for the wards of it's country.

Johann was exhausted. He was on his way home from work and passed by a fairground. Shaking his head at the hedonistic activities, he walked on by, then found his eyes being drawn by a certain sign:

"Fortune Teller"

He bit his lip and changed course. Upon entering the tent he sat down opposite a bored-looking girl in a cheap shawl. She glanced up and, seeing his stately poise, bounced into action.

"Let me tell delve into your life, sir," She said, huskily but a little too quickly, drawing a crystal ball seemingly from nowhere. Smirking inwardly, Johann definitely didn't expect what came next. The girl had merely glanced into the ball before yelping and dropping the thing, as though it were red-hot.

She looked up at him slowly, and said, "I know not who you are or why you came here. You will be the cause of untold death and suffering. You will have a role in a disaster previously unknown to humanity. Out, out, get out!"

. On his way back to the inn at which he was staying he contemplated suicide, but his thoughts were interrupted by the screams of a drowning child. Of he could maybe save just one life...

I don't like when people make these false assumptions that nothing would have ever happened had Hitler not been born or had been killed. Germany (and most of Europe, for that matter) was in a ****** state after WWI that got inconceivably worse during the depression. The people were vulnerable and desperate, and some sort of maniac would have come to power regardless. That's like saying the U.S. Civil War never would've happened had Lincoln not been elected president/

I'd probably have saved him even if I knew his future, at that age Hitler was just an other innocent mind of the youth, not yet the violator of of human rights and the crusader of mass murder that he'd become later on, I would not hold young Adolf Hitler responsible for crimes he haven't yet committed, and we should never delve into attempting to do such things, to do so, would be immoral and wrong on so many levels.

Also a note, one of Hitler's scientists cured smallpox, he could do this because of being able to experiment on so many jews, it's predicted that if this never happened about 12 million people would have died between then and now.

He also allegedly had his life spared in WW1 by a british soldier after he was wounded on the battlefield from an explosion that almost took off his legs and did, in fact, take off one of his testicles.

there are many instances in the records that show time travelers trying to kill Hitler, only to be foiled by fate. Without Hitler, there is no Nazi Germany. No Nazi Germany means no Jewish Holocaust, which means no Israel. No Jewish reclaiming their holy land. No triggering the Apocalypse and the final battle between Michael and Lucifer.

Hitler: You saved me Mister
Johann: Ah yes, but for this you must do me a favor
Hitler: Anything I promise
Johann: One day, when your older, you must eliminate the Jews from Germany, they are evil people
Hitler: I do not understand why, but I will do this, you can count on me

if not hitler, somebody else would have done so, e. g. Engelbert Dollfuss

fun fact: the austrian people's party still keeps a portrait of Dollfuss in their headquarters

The inn river passes through both Austria and Germany, and people do visit other countries, y'know.
