I think at 6 people saved he should have patted himself on the back and gone home.

That's sad. One more chromosome and the kid would have been flame retardant.

I read an article on this kid a while ago. It wasn't even his house that burned, it was his grandpa's, who was allowing other family members to stay while they could get back on their feet. He saved 6 people, including his two cousins aged 4 and 6. This kid displayed an admirable courage at such a small age, deserving our praise and respect. He sacrificed his life for the noblest cause, and for that I salute him.

I'm guessing the six that he saved were adults and were like "Yeah, let the 8 year old go back in the burning fire"

It's funny because there's a post on the frontpage talking about how much people are easyly emotionaly controled without even searching informations on the facts.

Helped 6 people out
Went back for 2 more
So, himself included, there were 9 people in a mobile home.

he saved six people, ****** . He's not a hero because he died he's a hero because of his actions.

His parents weren't even there, he was visiting his grandparents house when this happened.

This happened near me. I live in Churchville but work in Penfield, which is where this occured. I remeber hearing the sirens and wondering whats going on. By the time I heard the news I was devastated. Theres an online fun to help pay for his funeral as his family isn't the wealthiest. If OP wants I'll find the link if anyone is interested.
