Impossible, lightning is attracted to the area of LEAST resistance. Do you ever know why you duck down in a field when in a thunderstorm? If anything, it would more likely hit a building, that is not only taller and less resistant, but also the fact that metallic substance is found there. Water inhibits lightning, it is only the minerals that are commonly found in water that help conduct electricity. The metal found on buildings is not only in a purer state, but also at increased elevation, as stated above.
