cost prohibitive? Im a britbong so NHS, they're all set up and run by the NHS with a few private hospitals. US I'd guess are all private, so to do the health care, they'd have to take over all of the hospitals rather than just cover the costs and quickly and more streamlinedly just adapt to the system they've already got
