Why pirate though?
Gaming has never been cheaper or more convenient.
Honestly if you have things like GOG and steam and you still pirate games you're a slimy **** IMO.
I can spend 200 bucks on a used ps3 and still get the same amount of giggles from playing vidya. Or spend $1000 on a LOL-UBER-STORMHAX desktop.
I know many of you are in the same boat as me. I also know many of you have chosen to live in squalor and blow your money on expensive setups because "muh mustard rice".
i spend a lot of money on my pc's (desktop and laptop) but not because i play that many games. i play league and gta v only one of which can be played on console. the main reason i use money on my pc is for solidworks. engineer student soo...
but if 200 bucks is what you WANT to spend then i can understand where you are coming from you probably priotise social life and partying higher than i do? i really don't know all i can tell is oyur money is going somewhere else than gaming
They pretend it's like money saving or something but it's really not.
You do really gotta blow your wad if you want the best.
Then you get the assholes who act better just because they do have the spare money to spend.
Get whatever man, the only thing that annoys me is exclusivity, it doesn't help anyone in the long run.
And I suppose it's one of the only ways to get people to buy your console instead these days, people buy based on exclusives.
I prefer console to PC because I feel more secure purchasing a pre-made, reliable console rather than building (and possibly ******* up) my own PC for $1000+. Nothing against PC gamers, I just don't have the time, patience, space or money for a high-end PC.
Often times a regular modern office PC can play most games just fine.
You just need to lower the resolution and turn down some effects.
It's pretty much what most consoles already do, anyway. The benefit is the mouse aiming.
i dont know **** about pcs...or anything technology related.
i just went to a computer shop and asked how much would it cost for them to build me top of the line gaming computer. and then they did it,i paid them and i dont regret a single thing about it.-
What do you mean by obsolete? If you mean new stuff is continually released then yeah ok, but I built a med-low budget computer like 3 years ago and it can still play all the new stuff on max just fine. You don't need to have the newest hardware to play games...
Litterally it's Lego. Build it slowly over time, Start with a Case, Motherboard, PowerSupply and CPU. Don't cheap out of these essentials, cheap out of RAM at first and upgrade as you get spare money. I built mine 6 years ago and all I needed to do was slap a new graphics card in it.
Been using the same PC for 7 years being able to run newer games (2007 to 2014). Never had issues with it. Now i have a new PC after 7 years and will buy the next one maybe in a decade. Kinda outdated yes, but obsolete never.
If your PC is obsolete within a few months, you're either doing something horribly wrong or you have an uncontrollable urge to get the currently very best setup. A PC from a few years ago can still play most games from today.
If you ever plugged anything into a socket you know how to build a PC.
Plus there are manuals for all the extra stuff you usually don't need.
Also, obsolete in 3 months? Compared to consoles which were obsolete from day 1? Not to mention, contrary to what you peasants believe, you don't actually need to upgrade you PC every time something better comes. My last PC lasted me over 8 years. The only reason I bought a new one is that the old one was starting to have serious problems.
As much as I would like a console for some of the pretty sweet exclusives, PC's are just flat out better and cost efficient. If my PC dies I just replace the part that causes the problem. If a console dies, you have to buy a new one.
**warwolfrider used "*roll picture*"** **warwolfrider rolled image**I prefer consoles myself but god damn you are ether a troll or retard or have been under a rock for 10 years
Welp, could be a specs issue. I dont k ow anything about your computer, but generally if the optimization/porting is done properly and the machine is cooled the only difference between a pc and a console is a pc can do things other than game (and can also be modified to perform much better than consoles).
>My extremely restricted dumbed down PC with a handful of games if superior to yours
>PC is objectively superior to both
>G-guys C-can't we just enjoy the g-games
:^) Damn it feels good to be the America of gaming.
one of my several complaints about "le ebin PC masterrace" is because they **** up any gameing community
i remember how fun it and pleasant was to Discuss stuff related to Dark Souls like lore and builds
them the game went to pc and everything you see is "Queelag is may waifu", "Praise the Sun lol", "Artificial Difficulty".
it also happened with GTA V and now it'll happen to Dragon's Dogma
If you really think certain games should be console-exclusive just because you can't handle a bit of cancerous comments, you're just not a nice person.
And oh man Dragon's Dogma coming to PC?? I really really want to play that game but don't want to go out and waste money on a console.
never said something should be console exclusive
i'm just saying that when something that was only console goes to PC it's community becomes ****
hell i played Dark Souls more on PC than on my console because of the DSFix
it's like living on an nice neighborhood and suddenly a bunch of ******* moves to it and the place becomes worse than Detroit
I think that's more because it got popular and not just because it went to PC. When something is super popular, there's more degenerates in the community to make degenerate stuff.
