What I am saying is that, for some reason, "Asians" only refers to a small part of Asia. Since it isn't allowed to call them yellow and brown, like with Whites and Blacks, gotta roll with that I guess.

That's predominantly an American thing, because to America east Asia is the most important part of Asia (due to geographical reasons). In Britbong, Asian typically refers to south Asia -- India, Pakistan, that kind of thing.

I think peple don't/shouldn't get offended based off looks (there are a bunch of tests and even asians can't tell all asians apart (yeah they're better but not 100% consistent). I think the bigger thing is just attributing the correct stuff to the right culture (like you'd probably be mad if I was like - the English are known for their schnitzel and killing of Jews).
