it depends on how difficult it is to get em out. some peoples WT grow out like normal but have to removed due to lack of space. if they grow out normally theyre very easy to pull. some people's WT dont grow out and the doc's gotta dig for em and that hurts like a ************ .
Look up an x-ray of wisdom teeth that are "Severely impacted". If you dont want to just imagine some of your teeth growing in horizontally and deep in the gums.
They had to shatter all 4 of mine to get them out, I was put under for a few hours. Not going to lie, I was wrecked the next 3 days straight. crazy pain.
If they are impacted they actually have to break bones in your mouth as well as shatter the teeth to remove them. They drug people because a lot of people panic when they feel someone breaking bones in their face. They don't actually knock you out but give you something like midazolam which calms people and prevents their brains from recording what happens. Midazolam doesn't cause memory loss for me (supposedly quite rare) so I remember the whole oporation and I can see why people think it's freaky. You FEEL them break bones in your face and shatter your teeth. It doesn't hurt but you definitely feel it. The whole operation is actually very violent (or at least a lot more than you generally think of for surgery).
What the actual **** do they give you guys at the dentist? I got a local anesthetic that lasted for half the day keeping down the pain, but no impairment in mental ability...
Yea, NC has a very ****** education system. My mom is a School Librarian and gets paid a fraction of what my uncle makes and he's never been to college and works at home
