It's a shame it probably died a few moments or as much as a day after the video was taken. You can see it's skin's film deteriorated (white spots) on most of its body. Oils or diesel probably aggravated its condition once it got close to the city.
A diver took this video, and the squid barely moved at the harbor.
It's obvious it was such a young one, too. It being literally a quarter of it's species' potential length. Probably explains why it showed it's face to humans in the first place.
these things are so cool, im glad to see them appearing more and more but at the same time im a little concerned... why now? weve had cameras and suba diving for quite a long time....so why is it that now is when we are able to photograph them, why are they showing themselves .....i say aquatic uprising...were all doomed
