Feminism is important in places where women can't vote, can't access birth control, don't have executive say in their partners and are considered property or a servant class.
It isn't important any more in countries where women can already vote, hold countless positions of power, receive comparable pay for equal work, can walk around like shameless whores if they choose and be offended when they illicit natural sexual attention from men (to a point). Irrelevant in countries where there are more women than men in higher education, girls doing higher across the board in many scholastic subjects, thousands more support shelters for women than men and countless organisations dedicated exclusively to furthering women.
I don't hate women, I'm not an anti-feminist. Nor am I an apologist. I'm anti-madness. womenagainstfeminism.tumblr.com/
The people on blogs like this are almost as brave as those who speak out against rape, because they know that so many feminists will try to bully them, discredit them or dismiss them. You've got to get the language right, don't be anti-woman, don't be anti-feminist, be rational and remember there is still a lort of work for true feminists (the ones you never hear about) internationally.
Sorry for long ********.
