tl;dr version - created by request from joshlol Diet: 3-400 Calories per meal! 8 grams of Carbohydrates or less per meal! Wait 4-6 hours between meals! HYDRATE!!!

Workout: 30 min to 1 hour cardio! and 30 min to 1 hour lifting!
Suggested Cardio: Walking, running, biking, swimming, hiking, martial arts!
Suggest Lifting: Weighted Squats, Dead Lifts, Benhc Presses, Pull Ups, Power Clean and Jerk's!

Let me add a few things here... Intensity > duration, if you walk for an hour you won't get the same results as if you did a hard run for 30 as far is your heart is concerned. If you're trying to bulk up, you don't really need to worry about vegetables, most truthfully vegetables give you some vitamins and thats about it. If you're trying to get big (not fat trying to get muscle, but skinny trying to get muscle) focus on protein rich foods like chicken, just try to eat as much as you can in a meal if you're skinny mostly going for meats because you need carbs AND protein. Just make sure you're actually committed enough and working out enough to use those carbs.

A REALLY important thing not mentioned here is try not to snack. If you're already big and have muscles though you can snack, in fact you probably need to to keep your muscles. But if you're fat or skinny with no muscles and you really need to try to snack on things like peanuts or a protein bar, maybe even some beef jerky even though its super salty, stay away from chips, cookies all that **** . Try to avoid desserts, I only have dessert twice a week which sucks dick because ice cream is amazing.

Water thing is spot on, drink a ton of water all day everyday, its good for you.

Also if you're trying to bulk up try protein shakes, I recommend allwhey. If you're really committed and working out a lot you should look into creatine and do some research, I personally have never used it because I was never trying to get very big, but it definitely bulks you up quick.

Progress guys~! I'm 21 years old and was (still am) self concious about my body,
first pic was around christmas i weighed in at 172lbs. last pic I weighed in around
150lbs. I'm currently at 144lbs right now and my goal weight is somewhere between
125lbs and 135lbs!

Progress is progress. You'll be happy once you see it!

My realistic goal isn't even about a number, it's to be comfortable in my own skin.
I haven't worn a bikini or swam for that matter in 3 years.
That's going to change this summer.

I lost some weight myself.

Left: 320lbs
Right: 230lbs

Got rid of 100lbs of fat with a ton of cardio and weighed 220. I started lifting about 4 months ago and now I'm around 230lbs. Putting the little fat I have left to use. I seriously would have never thought that I'd be healthy if you asked me a year ago.
I know, I know. Theres a cure for obesity but not for ugly. I apologize. I'm not very photogenic at all.

Another helpful tip is to eat goat meat. A lot of people use chicken as the default meat to go but really goat meat is better for you. It even beats out many types of fish.

Same calories, less fat, more protein, and WAY more iron. It's said to taste a lot like beef, too. You can grind it up and still enjoy delicious burgers.
