Gonna make this clear, I support Gay Rights, I'm just making fun of the whole suing to get them to make a cake deal. I mean really, they shoulda just gone to another business.

As an atheist I can tell you this is a violation of the baker's rights. Businesses have the right to refuse service and you shouldn't be forced to sell someone something you don't want to. Regardless of the reason, they should've found another baker.

OH I KNOW TAKE IT TO COURT BECAUSE THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO BODY ELSE WHO COULD DO THIS FOR US. i feel bad for the guy, chances are they only took it to court to be right and feel better because they defeated the "bigot". How about letting the guy believe what he believes and finding another ******* baker who wont be stressed out\ pissed off while making your cake because he thinks the thing that decides if he gets into heaven is watching him and judging him. I think that was just a dick move on the gay guys part (no pun intended)

This really pisses me off.

Don't get me wrong, I got nothing against gays. But come on. This is ******** . That guy has every right to not bake the cake, just like the two dudes have every right to be gay.

I am still divided on this issue.

Love me some small businesses. Good for local economies, good for employment, etc.etc.etc. The goal of a business is to enrich the community both literally and figuratively. Someone comes to you for business, and you say you don't want their money because you find the implications surrounding their patronage objectionable. You turn them down. They become upset, and inform the state, from whom you received your business license, that you are not rendering services.

You didn't render service because they are black and your beliefs hold that they inherently inferior to your race: You are a morally backward ******* .

You didn't render service because they are gay, and your beliefs hold that their marriages are inherently inferior to the marriages of your sexuality: You have a valid moral claim in need of protection.

This appears to me a contradiction.

On the other hand:

Love me some gays. Top notch people, except, as with every demographic, they bring in tow people who didn't pay their brain bills that month. You go into a business that says you are morally repugnant for attempting to engage in a binding contract of monogamy. Instead of going to their competitor, you take the business hostage to get a cake made under duress. Broadcast your offense if you like! Go online and let the entire world know that you were offended by the discrimination. That is your right and you are allowed. If a business model does not stand up to public scrutiny, the owner may decide to revise it on their own.

A whole heap of people made immature decisions in this process, and everyone gets to dig themselves out by their teeth now.

It's ******** , he should be able to decide for who and why he wants to bake his ******* cakes for. If he loses business because of his beliefs, that's his god damned problem.
