Just so you know, nintendo was sued because the joystick was hard plastic. It wasn't soft, and many minigames required you to spin the joystick around.

Well actually the main reason they got sued was because people decided to use their palm to rotate the joystick, the lawsuits were minor and some didnt up hold because technically it was their own fault for what would be considered "improperly" using the contoller in a way nintendo did not intend for you to. Regardless nintendo ended up making a statement warning kids against doing this.

My cousin had a gamecube and the joysticks were chewed up (I assume this was the dog's fault) and I only needed to play about 2 minutes of smash bros before I just couldn't anymore
