i cant focus on what he says because he keeps walking in the same place, i feel as though he cuts the video, walks back to where he started, and starts recording again... he must have passed the same house and tree like 50 times
Because he's walking in circles on his driveway, you must be one special ******* cookie. "I feel as though he cuts the video". Your spidey senses are right on retard
After watching these I thought he was a pretty cool dude, because everything he says is true, so I went to watch his other videos and found he was super sexist. No, I'm not some Tumblr SJW crying misogyny, but he talks **** about women who do "manly" things like hunting, fishing, welding and his only answer to any argument is "bitch make me a sandwich" (Direct quote). I've literally never heard that from someone >13 years old.
He makes really compelling arguments in these videos, both against anti-police and use of the word 'gay' and his anti-ford fan videos are funny. But his videos on women are terribly unfunny and just wrong. Pretty dissapointed.
Anon coz FJ doesn't like it when you call someone sexist even though they legitimately are and coz I'm a bitch
I agree that some of his other videos paint him as a misogynist, but can you not see that he loses a lot of credibility in the way of social issues because of it? His "point" about the use of the word gay is ******** . No matter your intention, or how hard you try to separate the use of gay to describe homosexual or queer people from calling something stupid, it draws a connection. You may not see it this way yourself but when the word "gay" is used in place of the word "stupid" around a person who actually identifies as being gay, it comes off as equating their own sexuality as stupid. The duality of usage of the word gay not only affect how gay people see themselves, but it can affect how heterosexual users of the word see gay people. Not necessarily you, or amiri king, but a 5-year old kid on the playground that hears his friend use it to describe a kid in the class who's kind of a jerk.
But I wouldn't expect more from this dude. Yes it's true, amiri king, many black people (and white people) have been handled forcefully for resisting arrest, and rightfully so, when the cops have a legal reason to arrest them. But when black people are tossed around, thrown on the ground, and sometimes killed because they refused to be arrested for a broken tail light, the cops are at fault. Not all cops are bad, not all cops hate black people, but black people face unequal treatment from law enforcement officers no matter how post-racial you guys think society is.
I feel like we as a community are all too ready to label people who have opinion that conflict with our own as SJW's. You may feel threatened by Discobleach saying that having a black president proves that white privilege doesn't exist, but before you thumb him and I down like crazy, just google it. Just read about how white privilege might exist. Try to understand both sides of this argument, and please try to consider that you may be wrong.
Its ironic as both sides with try to buzzword each other to discredit the other
Examples SJW, Liberal, Conservative, Neo-con, Prog ,Neo-reactionary, gaslighter, MRA, feminist, and list go on and on as extremism takes over As a liberal form America i have become afraid and disappointed in other liberals as they are just using the terrible tactics and strategies that the hardline conservatives have used in the past becoming more cult like "greater good"
Agreed but i think that most Tumblr faux-progressive types I hate using SJW it increases their martyr complex I feel confuse race privilege with income/rich privilege when it comes to first world countries yet most of them come form rich/middle class back-rounds
His points on women doesn't make his other points any less true though. Like imagine a botanist trying to talk about theoretical physics, probably would be gibberish, but his stuff on botany would still ring true.
It all depends on the cop you end up with. There are plenty of amazing police officers out there, but there are also plenty of terrible ones that just like to abuse their power and aren't there to uphold justice like the others.
I've had officers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me, showing up just in time to snag the asshole who jumped me, remove a trespasser, etc...
But I've also seen first hand how ****** some cops can be. A friend of mine was beaten with chains and hockey sticks and was sent to the hospital for a week he had so many broken bones. The guys who did it went to his school, and the officer in charge of the assault case personally knew them her words , so she did nothing about it. They werent even suspended from the school. A month later they kicked him out of the school for "causing disturbances" because he wouldn't drop the fact that they weren't doing anything about the fact that he was assaulted and hospitalized.
So yeah, the police are great, but don't be blind to the fact that there are far too many that are terrible people disguised by a friendly uniform.
straight up sue them and the school. i would walk into the ******* dean's office and lay my fist on his whatever the **** table. sitting on the sideline makes you as much of an accomplice... pricks.
Ben Birdland, aka "Big Band", is a observant detective who is committed to using his abilities to stop Skullgirls. When he was working as a police cop, he was one of the few ... etc etc, not gonna copy everything.
after a few hours of scientific research, repeatidley thouroughly studying the video, a few 3D simulations, interviews with experts on geometry, asking a few random pedestrians, showing some footage of congress and discussing for hours with our top research group, and breaking several grammatik rules and having quite some typograhpical errors, we come to the conclusion that he indeed kept walking in circles
