This other day i said something serious and everyone just laughed it off as a joke and i had to play with them but on the inside i was ashamed as hell.
i wish.... my hearing is imparied, my vision is really really bad, and my allergies make my nose always stopped so i cant smell. dont think i have good senses
thats because you have not lost the sense yours just suck, you have to lose it completely, its why when you want to hear something better you close your eyes so you can see at all, it prevents the brain from being side tracked by sight, yours on the other hand has to concentrate even more because it struggles to see, so you are actually worse the someone with 20/20 vision lol
>taste things that havent happened yet
>wake up in the middle of the night, taste blood in your mouth, followed by a taste of sweaty balls
>oh **** that 12 year old on Xbox didnt lie
This is true; Human mind is like fluid, if energy cant go in one direction ( or sense ) it flows and fills the other way.
You go blind, you start to visualize sounds think of Daredevil movie
If you can manage to kill your hungry instincts, your default happiness or peace increases. The opposite of this is alcoholism.
Eastern religions know of this, and they use this knowledge to shape their conciousnesses ( or cleanse their minds, you pick ) in meditation, if theres no need, theres no negativity... They basicly teach themselves to be modest. Not bad.
Alcoholism doesn't make you happy. Initially there is positive incentive taking it, but also positive incentive of anticipating its effects. With addiction, the anticipation incentive increases, but the actually positive effects of it wears off... hence you want to take it but don't get any happiness from it.
Ayy also your remaining senses compete for the vacant cortical real estate on your brain. That's why your hearing may get better with vision impairment.
I said: If you can manage to ward off your hungry instincts, like overeating, repeatedly needing sex -or attention think about all the needy FB bitches huh- the need for fame, too much materialism, etc. all the instincts that keep you '' hungry for more '', then, '' your default happiness or peace increases. ''
Although I don't agree that you should kill every instinct in yourself for more, I see people defining themselves with what they have only everyday, so I get into these kinda things.
I hope I wrote it right.
Oh and for alcoholism: Alcoholism is creating a new hunger in yourself to keep the negativity usually the unwanted reality out by blocking the ability to think and feel about it by consuming excessive amounts of alcohol. having a drunkard father for 3 years taught me this, and I'm glad.
If you are going through any kind of alcoholism related problems, I can try to help from here, dude.
thanks dude but that period is in my person's past. i think there's benefit to your spiritual approach but don't forget that addiction isn't completely within your conscious hands, there are genetic influences, no different than diabetes or risk of heart disease... but choosing to manually override those addiction factors in you is in your hands.
What if you cut off all senses? you can hear god for those that don't understand there was a creepypasta where a suicidal man volunteered to have all his senses cut off, after a week he faced at the scientists and tells them he spoke with god and god said he had abandoned us and then he straight up dies.
