Hey funnyjunk, I'm going through a tough time at the moment. My Oma (grandma) passed not too long ago, I'm finding it hard to accept. I'm facing some heavy decisions about a knee injury that had bothered me since I was 15. I can't work because of my injury and I feel so useless. I just want some friends. If anyone else would like to talk because of their hard time, needs a shoulder to cry on, or just wants to chat comment or send me a message
Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed the picture!

Pull yourself together, OP. Just because your knee's busted isn't a reason for you to be in the state you're in. You're human; within you is the strength to weather the worst of storms and to break any obstacle that would be supposedly insurmountable.

Your relative has passed away. Did they live a good life? Are you glad that you had them in your life? Savor the memories and don't replay the down feeling. They would not want you sitting about moping all day.

You can't work, not in physical areas. Get jobs in mental and/or thinking-based ones. Adapt and Overcome. One area is closed to you, so devote more time to others.

You can't change what's around you, only how you act. And always remember that you're the one who did and decided to perform your actions. Saying anything along the lines of "I had to do it" or "I was forced to" is just an admission that you can't ******* own up to your failures.

Pain is an illusion of the body, Despair is an illusion of the mind.

A clear mind doesn't have all the answers, it is merely aware of its own failings.

In the best interest of yourself and all you hold dear, get your **** together. You're better than that, I know it.

Yeah I second what my summoner said.

Being sad is alright. But moping over it and ruining your entire life is not what your grandmother would want.

My grandfather also died 3 years ago. I was unaffected, but I saw my mother (whom the grandfather was the father of) completely breakdown and didn't get anything done for about 3 weeks. She only grieved and grieved, and didn't know what to do.

Please, OP, don't fall into the descending spiral of depression like my mother did.
