In Britain. guns are illegal, and their crime rate is much lawer than
America' s, In Canada, gun ownership amongst civilians is much more than
America, and their crime rate is still leaner. So guns really dutt' t kill people,
Americans kill people.

Actually Britain has more violent crime, with more than double the incidents of assault and rape.

>Canadian gun ownership greater than American
>British violent crime rate lower than American

Looks like somebody wanted to play a game of how ******* retarded can I be in the fewest number of sentences possible.

Well considering that Britain has a higher violent crime rate by a factor of nearly 2 and Canada has waaaaaaaaaaaaaay lower gun ownership than the states, this is incredibly wrong.

crime was a complex issue with many different factors, and, while gun availability is one of them, differ greatly between nations and cultures in vast ways culminating in different results.

I wonder if there has ever been a porno where all the men are in soldier red coats and they are gang banging a chick. Then while she has some DVDA and double hand job/blow job going on right before they all climax a guy in a powdered wig on a horse rides through the scene yelling "the British are cumming, the British are cumming" and the camera pans off to the side while patriotic flute music starts to play.

Neat facts:
England's violent crime rate per citizen is significantly higher that the U.S. The huge jump up occurred right after private gun ownership was outlawed.

Also, in the U.S., more people are killed every year by drunk drivers, swimming pools, or hammers than by firearms.

Finland: 3rd most civilian-owned weapons in relation to population, still a country with one of the most strictly regulated laws for owning a gun and i don't hear about many crimes that have been committed using guns.

"Japan: Very tough gun control, family culture based on respect and honor, low crime rate, especially with guns.

Mexico: One of the toughest gun control nations in the world, one of the highest crime rates especially with guns.

Brazil: One of the toughest gun control nations in the world, one of the highest crime rates especially with guns.

UK: Tough gun control, high violence rate.

USA: Mild-moderate gun control. Breakdown of honor and respect in culture. Unsatisfactory family and school system. High violence, including guns. about 50% lower than in the early '80s, and gun ownership has gone up tremendously. For more information look at the FBI statistics.

BONUS: Switzerland: High gun ownership rate due to military conscription, but that's not the point, the population has been highly educated about guns. Low crime rate especially with guns.

Conclusion: We have a culture problem, not a gun problem. Gun crime has gone down, and news coverage has gone up, giving you the illusion of an abnormally high gun crime rate for America.

PS: This is not meant to start a ********* , as you won't win, I have so much to say that will counter anything you'd have to say arguing against me. This comment was meant to settle ANY and ALL arguments about gun control. This is the indisputable truth."

I think it's more of the fact that lots of poor, desperate people are incidentally black or hispanic, rather than blacks and hispanics being vicious criminals.

Guns aren't bad. The people who use such a powerful tool for stupid reasons are bad. The majority of gun owners in the US are good people. It's just the stupid and bad people with guns that get more news coverage and attention than the good guys with guns. You will hear a lot of gun related tragedies every once in a while going on in America. Compared to Britain and Canada the rate is extremely ******* high, of course. But in a country of 400 million and growing, the crime rate is still pretty low for American standards.

I don't give a **** if some ******* gangbangers shoot each other over some stupid **** or if some drug dealer gets capped by his drug lord because he ****** up. **** them. But when it involves children or innocent bystanders, then that's just ****** up.

Here in America the ratio of Legally owned guns to people is about 93:100 so for every 100 people there are 93 guns amongst them. Not to mention the illegally owned ones. Also not to rule out the crazy people like me who have 50+ guns... out of which 1 is an "assault rifle" and 3 others are ww2 weapons. M1 garand and 2 m1 carbines... the rest are all hunting rifles and shotguns. The funny thing is My Browning X-bolt in .338 with my VX-6 scope is just as accurate and deadly as a military sniper rifle and b/c I know how to use it I could be the next "White Death" Just felt like ranting my opinion, am willing to talk about others views and opinions.

Except this is wrong, Britain's assault rate is higher than U.S.America's. They have more stabbings per capita than the U.S. has shootings.
