If this gets a lot of thumbs I will continue this in a series to recognize some of the greatest musicians who have ever lived. Freddie Mercury seemed like a good starting place though. It's been too damn long since I've seen something related to Freddie or Queen on the front page. I'll be the first to admit that I don't sorely miss the climate of this site from three years ago - i.e. the era of Gay Tests and "le sexytime w/gf" meme comics and "tl;dr" on everything 10+ words long - but one of its bright spots was seeing one of my favorite bands get respect on a daily basis. I salute you, good sir.

Interesting thing about Freddie. Dentists told him they could fix his overbite as he had always been self-concious about it. He refused based on the idea that it may change the pitch of his voice. That's a ******* perfectionist.
