Rival? Shes useless and doesn't really have a clear goal from her journey. She only battles you two times.
The other 2 useless male friends had some goals at least if you can call them that. One wanted to make a pokemon dance team and the other wanted to complete the pokedex. Shauna just wanted to catch cute pokemons. Her journey had no impact on her growth and development as a character.

I think that was the whole point of her being there though. She was just a teen starting out on her journey not knowing what she even wanted to do with her life. So instead of sitting around waiting for an answer to come to here, she instead went out to find her answer on here own. something that our own character had to do when we first started the game.
That being said however besides opening the door to the legendary room she really didn't affect to story to much

I mean, he goes on about making a Pokemon dance team and all he really has to show at the last battle is a Roserade that sort of counts as a dance Pokemon with Petal Dance, and two other Pokemon that know Sword Dance.
Plus, like Shauna, there wasn't any resolution with his goal or any real change at his character at the end of the game.

anon (11/29/2013) [-] Could you say she's possibly the best? She has more potential for growth out of the other characters that travel "with" you. She hasn't really expanded on anything she wants to do, so there is no real stopping point for her journey. But for the others, there's Fatman for his Dancing Pokemon team, Nerdkid for completion of data on the known Pokemon, Rivalchick to be the best who was utterly defeated by you and is now kind of stunted because of it.
I don't know, that's how I see it anyways.

So purely from that perspective I'd say they increased the ratio or you are one lucky sob

Long story short, my shiny Piloswine apparently wasn't a real shiny cause he sucks, so my game gave me a shiny Golett. I later caught a shiny dragonair as well.

Basically he came to my family asking for good letters saying why he should be given custody of his kids, so I wrote a letter to his ex to use explaining what he is like. That was the tipping point in court because while other letters said he was nice, I put in the individual actions.

During the final week of school, she wanted a class photo, and threatened to expel me if I didn't partake in it. Mind you, the new "you must give consent to be in a photo" law just came in. After graduation, but before the school year ended (by about 2 week)s I emailed the school about the photo, and how she didn't have my permission. For the next week, I used copies of other students email addresses to say the same thing. Apparently she cant teach anymore
