SKYRIM - fifteen minutes into gameplay...

I get a general look that I'm ok with, then skip past the rest. **** that waste of time.

More like 2 hours in gameplay.

I finally beat the main story today! I had this beer saved up for over two years now, and finally drank it! Now I'm drinking other beers out of that glass, still in victory.

two years to beat the main story? you're either really bad, or really bad

even if you only have an hour a day to play it shouldn't take you that long
User avatar #21 to #10 - sepheroth (12/09/2013) [-]
I stopped playing it, repeatedly. New Vegas was/is more my style. And I didn't fast travel much, enjoying the scenery and whatnot.
User avatar #22 to #21 - sepheroth (12/09/2013) [-]
And there were three current characters, one mage for the mage-y stuff. A rogue for the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild. And my two handed Dragonborn for Companions, civil war, and Main quest. The main was the last to round everything out.
User avatar #23 to #22 - sepheroth (12/09/2013) [-]
And do you know how much time it takes to create three characters? That took at least 12 months in the creation menus!
User avatar #25 to #23 - hellsjester (12/09/2013) [-]
i have 5 completed characters. stealthy stabby shooty, sword and sheild, mage, and a ******** character all quests completed with all in about 2 months of game play.
User avatar #12 to #10 - xtrmbragnrytz (12/09/2013) [-]
even then... that's 730 hours... which is beyond enough
#19 to #12 - thorseph (12/09/2013) [-]
unless you aren't gunning for the complete story line... just playing it at your leisure

Bandolier mod + Steed Stone + the perk from Pickpocket, and I STILL can't hold all this loot!
User avatar #38 to #27 - joeyliquid (12/09/2013) [-]
Honestly, I just used the mod where items had no weight. I had enough of skyrim's **** when some items had ******* ridiculous weight and one dungeon would require multiple runs just to clear all the decent loot out. (I still get weighed down, since armor/weapons/quests item and special items etc still weigh something and that's still in one run of one dungeon)
******* skyrim

glad to know im not the only one who takes everything off of everyones body

15 minutes into gameplay I'm still making my character...
User avatar #31 - thegamerslife (12/09/2013) [-]
anyone want to gift me skyrim? lmao
User avatar #35 to #31 - hoban (12/09/2013) [-]
You can download it really easily, i got the legendary version for pc that way
User avatar #43 to #35 - thegamerslife (12/09/2013) [-]
I don't torrent games, unless it's just to demo them. Like dishonored, and then I hated that game.. so i didn't buy it. I already know I love skyrim from playing the XBOX version, so I have no need to torrent it.
User avatar #52 to #43 - hoban (12/10/2013) [-]
Thats fair enough, i used to do that too but when i could just get the game for free i choice that as i dont have a job at the moment
User avatar #53 to #52 - thegamerslife (12/10/2013) [-]
I am also jobless. have been for a few years now. :/ In fact we have a 9+% unemployment rate, that is slowly going UP!
Not really an excuse to torrent full games, enjoy them, and move on. js.
User avatar #28 - thegamerslife (12/09/2013) [-]
Love skyrim. put over 100 hours into my XBOX version. once I get PC version I'm going ape **** on the mods!!
User avatar #32 to #28 - dreadedsin (12/09/2013) [-]
May I suggest the levellers tower player home, it is one of the best. Here is the link: www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14152/?
User avatar #33 to #32 - thegamerslife (12/09/2013) [-]
It looks bigger on the inside. O.O
User avatar #34 to #33 - dreadedsin (12/09/2013) [-]
Oh yes, and depending on your computer, best to get some overhaul mods. Like better texture for scenery and weapons. Each of which would be down to you to decide.

Also, people have created their own DLC, one of which called Falaskaar www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37994/? is really good, as it is custom voiced. Not only that but the user who created it is now working for Bungie
User avatar #39 to #34 - joeyliquid (12/09/2013) [-]
woah woah, you best give him some mods that help the process run smoothly and stop conflicts, as well mods that help with memory usage and CTD problems. Since when your packing the mods on, your gonna get dem crashes. unless your jammy dodger.
User avatar #44 to #39 - thegamerslife (12/09/2013) [-]
I plan on having no less that 50 mods. and yes, dreadedsin my computer will handle them.
User avatar #46 to #44 - dreadedsin (12/09/2013) [-]
No doubt. As long as you can backtrack if mods mess up then it should be fine.
User avatar #47 to #46 - thegamerslife (12/09/2013) [-]
Install 3
run game
install 3
run game
etc.

That's what I did with new vegas.
User avatar #48 to #47 - dreadedsin (12/09/2013) [-]
Good idea.
User avatar #41 to #39 - dreadedsin (12/09/2013) [-]
I had my game running with about 20 mods and had no issues whatsoever, any mods that gave me problems were usually individual. However, if you have scripting issues then it is best to get the Skyrim script extender
User avatar #42 to #41 - joeyliquid (12/09/2013) [-]
srsly? lucky man. but it really does depend on the mods you got, i mean most of my problems are caused by animation and textures/meshes and the combination of them. but i need dem armours and sweet moves. Probably the smoothest mod I have is the nightsky mod which looks beauutttiffuul. what mods you got running?
User avatar #45 to #42 - dreadedsin (12/09/2013) [-]
Other than Falaskaar and Levelers tower, I had an assassin creed armor (glitched and cannot find a link for a fixed version), Helgen reborn (mod that sort of puts you in charge of new Helgen. Several weapons upgrades for textures along with an enchantments graphics upgrade. Immersive armours, better world maps, skyrim HD 2k textures, and banks of skyrim (allows you to invest, borrow and save money)
User avatar #49 to #45 - joeyliquid (12/09/2013) [-]
Ahh. Then my advice is stay away from huge animations mods or your gonna start having conflicts that you can't resolve. Specially if you have huge mods like Falaskaar and graphics mods. I mean you can go for it, but I don't want to be in your position when it starts crashing. I wouldn't know where to stay cleaning up to make it work.
User avatar #50 to #49 - dreadedsin (12/09/2013) [-]
I mostly enjoyed the player home mods, at one point in skyrim, I had 4 different player homes that were downloaded, I had levelers tower, the Asteria (Dwemer floating ship), Raveks end (a cave system with a secret hideout) and Dovahkiins hideout
User avatar #51 to #50 - joeyliquid (12/09/2013) [-]
Oh man, same. I had them all, but I settled on living in the house on the dragonborn island and having all those DLC hearthstone houses (I got them cheap in a sale, don't judge )
