i actually did this in the beginning thinking there was an end to it and all these settlements would be useful to have
all it did was make my endgame a constant "YOURE SETTLEMENT IS DYING GO SAVE THEM!!!!"

Greevon (01/08/2016) [-] New to fallout 4. Haven't done the first quest with the Minutemen after they find sanctuary. I want to build a settlement or two, but don't want to be spammed with pointless Misc. quests. How to proceed?

vlademitrius (01/08/2016) [-] If you want to continue the story with the minutemen, you have to build sanctuary. I did that, its pretty great. theres one quest where you have to build a chair, but it takes two seconds. The other one I made was red rocket. I used that for all my important stuff and power armour, but then i moved some companions there. It was pretty chil, so i made it a huge thing, and it's great. the shops earn me money. No pointless quests. Pretty easy to defend if you surround with turrets. Also, under the stop is a cave with some cool stuff.
