You don't speak for all of funnyjunk faggot, there are plenty of vegans who respect the alternative lifestyle and refrain from telling every person they meet.

DUDE CHILL. They have protective leather mitts, and boots, therefore making them invulnerable to the molten rock. Which is what I'm pretty sure it is, lava. I've seen the exact same setup used in lava experiments, I don't know if this qualifies as an "experiment".

you're right i'm going to go put on some heat-protective clothing and do a ********************** into an erupting volcano for *****

Everyone knows, if there's sand on the floor it's totally safe and nothing can go wrong.

Also gardening gloves are fireproof to at least 30 000 Kevins.

i wouldve thought being near lava would incinerate you, or has star wars taught me wrong
#111 to #76 - skebaba (12/18/2015) [-]
In high enough quantities (a volcano filled with lava, for example) it will incinerate you to a degree by proxy.

not only that but the meat would be raw on the inside and seared from the inside at this distance from it.

#59 to #37 - Lookinatstuff (12/18/2015) [-]
Lava is not metal, it's rock. It typically does have traces of iron, but not a lot.

And - no, the heat is not too much. You want the temperature high, like around 750 F, which it probably is at that distance from the lava.
User avatar #83 to #59 - HashMap (12/18/2015) [-]
That isn't lava.
#143 to #83 - kaimera (12/18/2015) [-]
Yes it is, it says
" Syracuse University lava project" on the bottom of the video.
User avatar #159 to #143 - HashMap (12/19/2015) [-]
It's molten metal, dude. Just because they call it lava doesn't mean it is.
#160 to #159 - kaimera (12/19/2015) [-]
What make you so sure? They both look very similar.
So unless you were there, I see no reason why you could be right.

Basically, if the maker of the content says it's lava, it has a bit more weight than some random person who is just saying "no its not" without any sort of proof.
User avatar #161 to #160 - HashMap (12/19/2015) [-]
Well, you can believe whatever you want. It's really hard to melt rock compared to metal. Besides I watched this vid when it was posted originally and they said it was metal (or slag, can't remember exactly) in the description.

User avatar #67 to #24 - trollzoll (12/18/2015) [-]
There is sand underneath so that it doesn't light anything on fire.
User avatar #71 to #67 - iqequalzero (12/18/2015) [-]
Yeah but still, unless theres some logistical reason to let it flow like that on purpose, its still kinda bad.

dont thumb up idiotic statements like "... GET THE **** OUT. Sincerely, FJ."

nothing wrong with eating meat bro, just make sure you look after your animals bros too!
User avatar #102 to #21 - dreygur (12/18/2015) [-]
Bro let's eat the meat, but bro, the animals still need a decent life while they have it.
#35 to #21 - redstonealchemist (12/18/2015) [-]
this could be of use to you.
personally i'm a vegetarian and i'm smart enough to not need supplements especially as vitamin C reduces the effectiveness of my narcolepsy medication and say i was in the wild, camping or going bushcraft or whatever, i'd eat the animals i'd kill. though i'd still avoid it if possible.
specialised diets are the product of excess, in the wild you need every advantage you can get. my only issue with the meat industry is the assurance of life quality for the animals.

there's nothing wrong with being vegan though if you take supplements. It's the vegans that boast about it constantly that are annoying.
Just like the basic bro that keeps joking bacon is the best and keeps talking about bacon. Haha, memes, woo. We get it, bacon's good, now go to a butcher and get ribs.

I think its just as annoying to talk about being a meat eater, as being a vegan who talks about being vegan. I don't care what food you eat, just eat it and shut the **** up. I'm ready for your rage...

Seriously, I´m not even a vegan...hell, I can´t even imagine life without a bloody steak once in a while, minced meat, wurst or goose roast.

But damn, I´ve met way, way, way more militant meateaters than I´ve met militant vegans. Hell, the only time I ever met a real, militant vegan was at a straight-edge-hardcore-show.

3 of my exes where vegetarian, my sister is vegan, my mother is basically vegeterian, half of the girls in my circle of friends are vegan or vegetarian - still I never get **** for eating meat or even a weird look. Only found out about them being vegetarian when I asked why they never order anything with meat, too.

On the other side, the internet is full of militant meat-eaters, there´s always 2 or 3 guys who make fun of the vegetarians at BBQs, etc, etc.

It´s seriously ****** up - and the fact that people on here try to put it like vegetarians are the militant ones is even worse.
