Squats for building all muscles. Squats for glutes. Squats for quads. Squats for hamstrings. Squats for calves. Squats for biceps. Squats for biceps. Squats for chest. Squats for shoulders. Squats for traps. Squats for forearms. Squats for lats. Squats for abs. Only exercise you need.

I never buy the curling motions etc for forearms, the only thing that's going to "close" your arm is your bicep, just because you've flipped over your wrist doesn't mean your forearm is now going to bend in the middle and do the work.

What tend's to do it is the ever increasing requirement for grip as you progress e.g. strapless deadlifts, all grip work (towel pullups I like quite a lot), crusher reps I hate the whole "say you lift 30% more than you really do" gym culture, but a big quantity of "crushers" are **** /easy - but suppose hammering out the reps isn't too bad

For. **** . Sake. Start picking up an addiction like chainsmoking and alcohol, I promise you, you will lose weight.

Bigger tip, do mostly compound movements if youre ******* new. and dont workout your forarms unless you want weird looking arms.

This is absolute ******** . You lose muscles much, much faster than you can gain them. What is quick, on the other hand, is rebuilding muscles after they've been lost, like with a broken leg. In that case, your leg will shrink due to inactivity, but you don't actually lose muscle cells, they just shrink in size, so rebuilding the size is faster than usual. GAINING muscle, on the other hand, is a long process, and not even close to faster than losing muscle.

This is just one example of why these entire comps are retarded, written by someone who is completely wrong in some areas.

Muscle atrophy should only occur if you are literally not using a muscle at all, like a broken leg. In a healthy person muscle fibres will not be broken down unless you're seriously starving. If you're ripped as hell it can be hard to maintain a huge amount of muscle because it will require a consistent high-intensity workout regime and a near perfect diet. But for the average person muscle gain should be a lot quicker. The myth that muscle gain is slower than muscle loss just stems from a complete lack of understanding about how the body and nervous system synthesize and recruit muscle fibres.

no concentrated bicep curl?

i find that most useful if you are looking to get a nice peak on your bicep.
