hello everyone, that would be me.
I was trying to say that just because one person belongs to a certain ethnic group/sexuality or what have you, that doesn't mean they speak for all of them.
does that sound logical to you or no? honestly.

You're arguing with an army of aspies who stopped mentally maturing at age 12. Don't bother, seriously. You can be plainly, obviously right - if FJ thinks you're an SJW, it doesn't matter to them, they'd rather be wrong than agree with an SJW on anything, ever.

Yeah no **** Sherlock.
Yeah no **** Sherlock.
(06/04/2015) [-] doesn't matter if they're spoken for at all
if anybody out there is insulted by a word alone, they're thick
being hurt by malcontent conveyed via slurs, that's different.
but I don't know a single minority person who is offended by a slur on pure principle, and isn't also a stupid asshole
I realise since I don't have a PhD in racism that this is just my opinion, and if someone disagrees I'm not going to wet myself over it
but I stand by it as being logical and objectively fair

I've done this on FJ before. Just for a laugh, really, but I realized I ****** up. It's a little too late because this is now content people have seen and thumbed, but the best you could do for yourself is to discontinue to comment, unless you're suiciding your account or going dark lord or whatever.
i'm just expressing my opinion.
the fact that a lot of people disagree with it shouldn't discourage me from commenting, what kind of ****** attitude is that

That's nice.
Well, if you know people are going to hate your opinion, ergo you in the chain of events that have occurred to you (this post, for example), you normally don't do it unless it actually brings good to the situation, as you'll be disliked for the action.
Seems to me as if you just caused a ********* for the sake of causing a ********* .
Common sense. I'm lucky the people that saw my b8 comments from last year or so didn't post that **** . Slim chance they'll see this and remember me.

no one's gonna dislike me for this, they'll have forgotten about it tomorrow.
even then, who cares? i wouldn't get along with those people anyway.
I understand your logic but I think you got to go by different logic.
If a group of people are offended by insulting language then so what? Grow up, they're just words, they hurt but you'll live. As some ****** once said: "Censorship is like telling a man he can't eat a stake because a baby can't chew it." Just because some people don't like a word doesn't mean we shouldn't use it.

i understand all that, but this screencap was taken out of context.
it was a 'heartfelt' post by admin about how he overcame difficulties to create this site, while reddit has 50 or 100 employees in 'fruity san francisco'.
and i said, what does the remark about homosexuality have to do with anything?
it's not relevant to the point you're trying to make. that is all.

I am of the people of the holy buttfinders and I speak for my kind when I say you are a butt
you don't speak for your kind. nobody does.
that's the point.
that's the point.
No no, you don't understand. We are alike and of one mind and body. I do physically speak for them.
i apologize for making fun of americans. how insensitive of me.
if you're offended by anyone's lack of creativity in offending people, i don't think this site has much to offer you.
"Offended" is the wrong term. I'm more bored by your lack of creativity.
Find a new insult to use. Don't just post "LOL LOOK AT THOSE AMERICANS, THEY'RE SO STUPID AND LOVE THEIR COUNTRY SO MUCH. LOL BALD EAGLES AND SHOTGUNS, MUCH?"
I've had that **** thrown at me ever since I started watching Top Gear, find a new way to insult us. ****** boring, yo.
Anyway, you're still a hypocrite.

yeah don't put words in people's mouths. i never said stuff like that.
i have a lot of arguments as to why i think america is an underdeveloped country.
and it's something americans need to hear because since childhood you're brainwashed to think your country is the greatest in the world.
it isn't.

i don't need to reply to that, since someone else already did, with good arguments.
having the top universities means jack **** when only a handful of people can get in them.
and i'm sorry you got offended by a satirical comic.. i really am. what do you do on funnyjunk, look at cat videos?

Having the top universities in the world means that your society values education. So no, it does mean **** . Plus, America a large amount of colleges/universities in general, with over 4000. America value's education, is the point I'm making.
And you've ignored the fact that the US is above Germany, the UK, Sweden, France and Belgium based on the Global Education Index.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_Index
And I'm sorry your comic is bland and it's punchline is **** .

if your society valued education then you wouldn't charge your students exorbitant fees.
clearly education is not considered a right but a privilege.
you have a right to dislike my comic, by the way. i don't see a problem with that.

Taking the hisory of the US into account I can understand why they pay the fees themselves. Of course it may lead to high loans, but on the other hand you mostly earn more in the US with the same degree as in other countries.
As in my country there are no fees for studying I understand your position, but it's not a reason to stereotype a country, but rather try to understand the society and it's development to a certain point.
So by all means, what exactly do you have against US citizens? They didn't harm you (please don't come up with the NSA, it's obvious they're not alone in this) and your rage against them seem unproportional to me..

>but it wouldn't work here. Too many different factors.
Just one the side, you realize that this is what every politican ever says when asked why things are the way they are?
"gun control doesn't work"
"regenerative energy doesn't work"
"public healthcare doesn't work"
"voting rights for women doesn't work"
"gay marriage doesn't work"
There are not some god given laws preventing **** from working that works well in many other nations.
