And i'm not sure if they're bringing back the Arkbird as a boss or if it'll just appear, bringing it back as a boss would just be cheap. The thing in the trailer isn't supposed to be the Arkbird at all, it's (supposedly) supposed to defend the space elevator.
True, but Osea did say they'd build another, and space does seem like a key subject in this game. I'm just glad we're back in the Strangreal world. Infinity was alright, but that was the world the series grew up in. Wardog. Razgriz. Ribbon.Demon Lord. Ace Comat, take me back.
The first time I hit that fight... Man it was tough as **** , but holy hell the feeling once you got the hang of it and beat it.
I still think it was topped by my first time going into pic related.
However, Ace Combat 4's final mission was the best. When that music started up setting the mood, the nigh endless Yellows to dogfight with, all while the radio chatter of the ground forces and their struggles.
Makes me wish I still had a working PS2 to play it all over again...
Literally the easiest of his 3 patterns to figure out. He flies straight (ish) for a while, then turns sharply and fires a mini nuke. Just don't get too close to him when you fire or you'll get toasty.
That goes somewhat fine.
Until he combines that **** with his Mini-Excalibur *********** laser beam.
AND THEN YOU HAVE TO DO IT ALL AGAIN BUT HEAD-ON, WHOOPEDIE LEEDLE DEE!
His laser is a can of ******** , yeah, but it's hilariously inaccurate and so long as you get the **** out of the way of it when it gets too close, you should be fine.
Honestly, his third phase was the hardest to figure out.
Simply fly away from him until he gets at the edge of your non-expanded radar range. Then he'll come at you head on, right into your waiting missiles.
Oh the third phase was the easiest for me, even more so as a kid. I don't understand why I have more trouble now.
It's just that... THOSE ******* MINI-NUKES ARE A BITCH TO AVOID HEAD-ON.
And if you're not paying enough attention, or that one joystick of your 8 year old PS3 controller is showing malfunctions AGAIN, say hello to Mr. HighlyEnergizedPhotons.
And then you go play Harvest Moon for an hour before meekly coming back, declaring that you won't give up so easily, only to repeat the process again 3 times.
MFW I expend all my missiles in a Jack Daniels fueled rage during both the AC5 mission where you lose Chopper, and the ******* Pixy battle for the 10th ******* time.
>Dark Souls 2
>Ruin Sentinels
>I've got a ****** wizard build and my most powerful **** is Greater Soul Arrow
>Die over and ******* over
>Too far into the game to be okay with starting over with a new character
>Why the **** did I want to be a wizard
That's why as a mage you get base stats for the mace you can buy from the blacksmith in Majula. It does plenty of damage to supplement your lack of casts.
I feel ya, doing a greatsword build and dodging (cause its fun and butt clenching) the ruin sentinels are complete **** . By oneself, a fight with those goobers really showcases the problems with dark souls 2, which is the Goddamn hit detection. If you're rolling a hoolahoop shield at me, why is the air wizzing past it just as deadly as getting hit?
Then they do the grapple 5x in a row.
Now you're fighting all 4. ******* RNG, that fight is.
Though if you git gud you can beat all 4 at once. Cunty fight, tho.
If you use Sunlight Blade and spam the **** out of the RB button when one is dying, you can kill all 4 of them after only fighting 2 or 3, since you can damage the joint healthbar even in their dying animation.
Yeah I tried that at the time. I just couldn't seem to get enough dps to be able to fight them one at a time. I'm long since past that fight though...but it has scared me a bit haha
I eventually tuned my build for a plus 15 deamon great axe and sunlight blade and power within.. ****** them right up...actually it one shots every boss up to the four kings
4 kings is pretty easy to dodge, bed of chaos though you need some good timing for cause you have to watch the hands, the flame sword things and land on the platform. Then get to the bug before it uses fire blast on you. I think it more accurately represents the frustration in the ops picture. Its frustrating because it isnt hard which is my point, i only get that upset when dying at something which isnt hard and you know is easy but you can still die from it in original playthrough just from timing being off.
>Ducktales remastered
Getting all the achievements
Beat the game on extreme difficulty
If you lose all your lives you have to start the game over again
The ******* last bit god dam I had to reply the game at least 5 times
If you miss more then 1 jump you're ******
I ended up way over leveled because of these two ***** and they forced me to learn how to upgrade **** , I hate/love them, except you Ornstein YOU CAN SHOVE THAT POLE UP YOUR ASS YA ******* CUNT
They sort-of forced me to change weapons, because the spear wasnt cutting it, so I discovered the Black Knight Halberd, which kind of ruined the rest of the game
>be me playing Dark Souls
>spellknight build because **** logic
>some points in dex so I'm not completely ******
>haven't killed
>invade someone in the forest
>murderize them
>get half a million souls
>ohgodwhat.jpg
>spend my souls, queue up for invasion
>invade same player after he gets his souls
>six hundred thousand souls now
>why
>player level is sitting at 120 after second invasion
>use couple remaining tens of thousands of souls to imbue straight sword
>travel back to Anor Londo
>bitchslap these two on my own
>mfw
**fralvar used "*roll picture*"** **fralvar rolled image** but then, one day, you see the game, say why not? and start to play and then, you realice that you pass this spot
Basically the first time I saw the first boss in the Bloodborne DLC. Who proceeded to kill me and my teammates about ten times in a row. ******* Ludwig. Cunt.
I've had to use Co-Op for a bunch of bosses in Bloodborne, I needed Co-Op for Cleric Beast, for Blood-Starved, and for Vicar Amelia. I'm trying to get through the Forbidden Woods without my team-mates dying so I can beat the Witch of Hemwick and the Shadows of Yharnam, I desperately want to get to Castle Cainhurst so I can get that sweet-ass Executioner set.
I'd also love some high-ranked people to sort of ferry me through the Old Hunters far enough to get the Old Hunter Set, the Constable Set and the Whirligig Saw.
Just don't forget to go offline when you get to the places where enemies ring bells that summon invaders. They're PvP hotspots because of the bell and can make a mess of trying to get through a zone. Once you kill the person ringing the bell though, they don't respawn anymore.
For the forbidden woods it is best to just run past everything to ignore pvp, there isn't anything that good in the forest anyway. Unlock the shortcut elevator between the Forrest and the lantern right before the forest next to that small building with the cage door. So when you take that up to the forest, just follow the lanterns and run past everything until you reach the boss (make sure you use the shaman bone on them so they just kill each other, they're also weak to electricity I believe). Same with charnel lane, just run past everyone and set up shortcuts. By the way, the witches boss can be difficult since they summon other enemies. It becomes easy if you summon someone, but if you want to do it by yourself they won't summon anyone if you have no insight.
Cainhurst has some of the best weapons in the game, as well as a couple good armor sets and a few worth wild gems, so make sure you search everywhere. The final boss can be a bitch by the way, you can riposte him in his first stage but not after he buffs, so don't bother. He also has no weaknesses, moves around a lot, has both long and short range attacks. And don't be tempted to use heavy weapons like ludwig's swords, you don't want to be near him for longer than you need to; it's also a good idea to use beast blood pellets to maximize damage. Have fun.
Yeah it's kind of a gitgud and die trying situation lol. I'm getting a PS4 for christmas and Bloodborne is the first game I'm playing, I'm really excited. I will soon understand your pains entirely
Make sure to get the DLC, because it has some of the best weapons/bosses/levels. It also explains a lot of the lore that was left out of the main game.
Make sure you put points into skill and bloodtinge (the sword is skill based while the bow is bloodtinge based). Just know bloodtinge weapons (including the bow) won't come into play until late game, but it pays off in the long run (especially NG+). That build is also useful for weapons like the chikage, evelyn, and the reiterpallasch (the best gun and two of the best trick weapons in the game).
I know, I'm gonna do a quality build (so I can try every weapon to know what I'd be interested in, in future playthroughs) with a focus on skill and bloodtinge because most of my favourite weapons use both, thanks for the tip though
For the beginning, definitely scale Skill, you'll want to use the Threaded Cane and the Hunter's Pistol, for lots of viscerals and such, especially in Gascoigne's fight.
I'm thinking I'll level strength a bit and use the hunters axe in the early game because it staggers better than the threaded cane, just so I can get accustomed to the game, coming off of dark souls 1 and 2 is gonna be pretty different, after all.
I had the edge of never ever beating DSouls 1 and 2, so I'm not programmed to slow down and stuff, I'm used to quick, so I went with skill, strength is good, too, for punishing attacks after getting a window.
If you meet the requirements for the Moon Presence, it becomes your canon ending to beat it, so after defeating Gehrman you can die or hunters mark out and go do more stuff in NG before going to NG+
i actually forgot about sephiroth for the longest time after i beat the main story for KH2. I only remembered to fight him after i had done literally every other possible thing in the game. So i accidentally took the easy way out by being a lvl 99 with ultimate keyblade and fully capable drive form abilities.
>Be Me

>shoot at boss target, warp to platform
>platform is filled with guys in power armor with automatic rifles and armor piercing rounds
>die as soon as I warp in
>reload save, same thing happens
>no other portals to take, can't go back to try and repair my gear
>mfw I have to play the game all over again to properly survive the ending
Apparently before you move to the last stage of Clear Sky there's a guy who can fix your gear, but he's marked on the map as a random NPC and not a technician.
My dumb ass tried to rush to the end of the spider lair addon in Metro Last Light. Got a checkpoint after the last filter ran out.. At the top of the silo.. With about six to eight seconds of life left to the poor bastard who trusted my directions.. Not a filter in sight, and a time-consuming ladder behind me.
One chapter vs a whole campaign though..? I have no comprehension of your rage.
