When Chrome first became popular it wasn't anywhere near as bad as it is now. I still use Chrome but only because there is still not a browser that can surpass it, at least that I have discovered.

Do you not see 10 instances of chrome.exe?

That's the biggest problem with chrome, it may be fast, but it takes a ******** of RAM. I can't run it and some heavier games simultaneously, but I can with firefox.

I know why chrome does that. When it splits up the processes, if one tab crashes, all the others remain uneffected. Usually the crashes are due from plugins. Firefox keeps its tabs under one process, but it keeps its plugins in another process. Both are good systems with some different drawbacks.

what about opera?

I have no clue what opera does with it's life.

Yeah, I gathered that, but FF rarely crashes either (and 90% of the time you can just recover all the tabs), and I found I just wasn't able to use chrome alongside any other serious software.

Also, chrome wouldn't shut down a lot of those processes. Pretty **** having only 3 or 4 tabs open but about 20 processes eating all of your memory

Also, **** google

Yup. Also, customizability > speed. Firefox master race.
