your dog chose to ignore it
I have 4 dogs and they all watch TV when they hear a dog barking, and get all excited when they see the dog

the problem is dogs see about 70 frames per second and we only need roughly 30 to make it a clear video. if you have a tv over 70 fps then the dog would see what we see

As the dog thought back to that moment, anger filled his darkened heart. He could only imagine how his life had changed so much, from being adopted as a tiny puppy, to the day of reckoning that he remembered was his birthday, to joining a terrorist organisation to owning a country and given the opportunity to launch atomic bombs on the enemy.

Only he knew the passphrase. One he had planned to use when he knew the time had come.

He strolled up to the audio activation switch and spoke the phrase. "Woof"

And in a matter of moments, the world was gone and so to was the dog whose bark was quite literally more dangerous than his bite.
