But the American citizens don't choose the president. Our "voting" is a complete farce, that is supposed to tell the Electoral College, how to vote. But they don't have to and often don't listen to the American voter, and you can cheat, it can be found out you cheated, and nothing happens as a result. For an inexplicable reason, the commonly accepted presidential numbering system lists Grover Cleveland twice No.’s 22 and 24 because he served two non-consecutive terms. Hence, Obama is said to be the 44th president while only 42 other men have held the job. Interestingly, the men who served two consecutive terms are listed only once.

If I'm not wrong, which I could be, these men ran under the Articles of Confederation, which were written up before the Constitution, the Articles of Confederation is what the Continental Congress ran by, and when we adopted the Confederation, and Declaration of Independence, yadda yadda, then we elected our first legit president.

Studies have shown that men are better at chess than women and focus on long term thinking while women only see the short term. Might explain why so many women do irrational **** without thinking of consequences. Everybody thinks that if the president becomes a woman we will have no more war, when in reality every month we will hit code red.

If a woman won it would be on the feminism imperative, not because she's qualified (it will probably be the opposite). It's a lot YouTube or those female comedians. They aren't funny, they aren't interesting, and the popular ones general just copy what the men are doing. But you know, boobs.

Men pretty much built society from the ground up and are responsible for the majority of the innovation. Testosterone has been shown to increase obsessions (ergo a passion for architecture) and is probably the drive of the male ambition. Female and male brains are quite different, but this is not a bad thing.

Women have a very crucial role in human society, so important in fact that we literally require women for our survival and propagation of the human race. They are our mothers, our caretakers, they help feed raise and care for the family. Children need them, society needs them, it's very important.

But it todays world, women think they can have it all. They want all the power that comes with being a man but none of the responsibility. Obama was a pretty crummy president but mock my words

A lot of this is based upon biology. It's not PC in the least bit, but the reality is that men and women are different and better at different things. Men make better leaders because for thousands of years men were the ones that had to fight and survive and make snap decisions, we quite literally evolved for this.

The real reason they don't call it herstory is because women have barely done anything other than reap the benefits of what men have built and provided, which is their biology imperative built into them for their offspring. Science.

Also, I'm not sure you know how a publication in an academic/scientific journal works. What you state to be 'self-explanatory' is clearly not. The authors would 100% have gone and explicitly stated this if that was the claim they wanted to make. They weren't writing a post-modern literary text that you have to deconstruct to understand. You're misunderstanding of their article is not evidence to your point.

The papers do check out though.
During the 70's and 80's women's movements wanted a more liberal life for women, and the result was less happiness.
So the conclusion that can be drawn is:
* Some women gained more happiness at the expense of other women.
* The movement backfired and made them more unhappy, or gained "freedom" at the expense of happiness.
Meanwhile, men have become happier. Sex is more readily available, hookups are less taboo and there are less strings attached. If anything, the feminist movement liberated men, not women.

The authors clearly recognize that the issue of happiness they were examining is far more complicated than what their survey results show. We evolved to lead, it's our genes. And judging by the vast majority of the top 100 fortune companies founded by men, I'd say men have been doing pretty damn well. This is the 21st century, women can work, vote, and attend school.
And they are more depressed when they didn't have those "rights",

More women are in colleges then men, because of quotas more women are likely to get jobs despite being equally qualified when versus men, women have special programs and policies that support them, women have the upper hand in the law, and are legally entitled to everything a mans owns, and even his children. Rape accusations have destroyed the lives of many men, the law supports and encourages this. A majority of divorces are initiated by women. (and its no wonder when it pays). I could go on and on here.

If "patriarchy" and "male oppression" were the reason that women dont' excel, then we'd see bunch of female engineers, scientests, and ambitious businesswomen, BUT we STILL don't. Even with all their unfair advantages. The reason is simple, women value different things as men.

A lot of women who pour all their energy into their career, end up old, lose their fertility, and end up childless, depressed, and without a family. So they avoid that more. Biology imperatives as it were.

Men evolved with different imperatives, to conquer, to gain the most resources, it's obvious why more men do more **** . And its one of the big reasons they make better leaders.

yes you're right. but the thing is, many women become pregnant by accident
they end up having to put college on hold because they have the new responsibility, where the men who help create that child, they don't. they have a bit more freedom to finish school and whatnot. at least that's how it typically goes
and I know plenty of women who have chose careers over children. my aunt is 48 and has no kids, she travels all over the world for her job.
my friend from hs, she works for a company and gets to take their private jet to work everyday.
she chose that over kids as well

infinitereaper's argument is that women are not built for such careers, which is very wrong
women did not have that option for many MANY years, because men did not allow it.
and this is not my emotions speaking, this is something you can read in any history book you pick up.

As a woman myself, I don't actually give a **** if there are or aren't women presidents. I don't care about running for it, but nobody's preventing me if I wanted to, like so many feminists are claiming these days.

What I care about are the solutions to problems everyone keeps bitching about. And I would like to see more female political involvement, if only to shut the masses up. It really is our own faults there aren't more women in politics.
