Maybe it's because having a girlfriend made you shower more than twice a week, get a haircut regularly and got you out of your tfwnogf depression to turn you into an actually attractive human bean.

I disagree.

Whenever I notice a guy is obviously in a relationship, I'm immediately uninterested, even if I was checking him out before I made the realisation.

I've never understood people who want a certain person that much more because they are in a relationship... Honestly, it baffles me.

And, cheers!

likewise, and the awkward part being that they try to explain it by using so many bogus theories such as pheromones

out of the first eleven which is your favorite?

Agreed.

Wow, that's a toughie...

I simply cannot narrow it down! I adore 4,7,10 & 11 the most, but I like them all quite a lot.

Well, except for 6, I never could stand Colin Baker in the role.

And yourself?

unfortunately i cant pick one , each one contributed to the show and made it there own. its true that some did it better than others but all of them were fantastic

10 & 11 are pretty awesome!

It took me forever to warm up to 11, and now that I have, he's going to die.

This will be my first time watching a regeneration with everyone else, so it's kind of exciting, if a little sad.

What do you think of Capaldi for the role?

i know what you mean , it took me about the whole season to warm up to him, and sadly enough i havent had time to watch the more recent episodes so i cant give my opinion on the newest doctor

Actually, Capaldi hasn't taken over the role of the Doctor quite yet.

There won't be any more new episodes until later this year, when they air the 50th anniversary special, and then nothing until Christmas.

And then it'll be quite some time before any new episodes are aired.

I was just wondering what you thought about the choice of actor for the role without actually seeing him in it, as much as you can.

well just based off looks he will be a fantastic doctor, but im kind of worried about how good he will portray the part of the doctor following the 11th and the 10th. and thanks for the information i might as well wait a bit longer until a few of the episodes air

No problem, friend!

And, I know what you mean.

I have a feeling that his take will be somewhat darker, a little more 9-ish, or perhaps a little more extreme.

but all we can really do is hope for the best and warm up to him like we usually have to with every change. but in the end he'll just end up being our favorite all over again as it usually happens .

I always try to keep an open mind.

And yes, absolutely.

Even if he seems to be terrible at first, when it's regeneration time then the fans will be in mourning once again.

but i must say im excited for how he will chose to play out his role. the way the 11th left off there is really room for character development on the part of capaldi.

Oh, same here.

Capaldi is an excellent actor, and I'm certain that he will do well in the role.

I find it mildly amusing that so many people are unhappy with the choice simply because of his age. I mean, William Hartnell was the same age when he was the Doctor.

I suppose that unless it's someone that all the females (and some of the males) can get all hot and bothered over, then certain individuals will complain about it.

I mean, yeah, it's a nice bonus, but as long as the actor is skilled in his craft, then I don't particularly care.

i must agree , he is a wonderful actor and given enough liberty on the role he will do a great job. unfortunately there are alot of fan girls ( and some guys) that might not approve as much of his age. but thats just better because only the die hard fans will remain , not so much on the appearance of the actor but the skill

It's altogether too easy to get addicted to Who!

Yes, the writers do like to make us fans suffer, don't they?

Moffat is pretty bad, although I do believe that Mark Gatiss takes far more pleasure in torturing us, lol!
