You really haven't been unemployed that long because it wouldn't be considered "unemployment" under the age of 18.

I'm the same age in Manchester and i've just got a job doing packaging full time for a certain amount of time, I hate every moment of it and plan on quitting, the money is good but the the hours and treatment is just not worth it, sometimes it's best to try and be patient for a job and not jump into something stupid like I did

TL;DR Sometimes not having a job can be a blessing in disguise
#1146 to #22 - moghulking (07/22/2014) [-]
But 15 is too young to have a full time job.

I'd recommend volunteering wherever you can to gain connections and work experience for your resume. Makes landing a job much easier.

Check out codecademy.com, you can teach yourself to code in your sparetime. That way you could set up a service to make site or do other stuff, and hopefully you will get noticed. I hope everything works out for you.

Also ask a nigerian prince to give you money, they usually have to much and dont it anymore.

Drive to your closest rubbish tip, nick a few things that look interesting and make something out of it. Doesn't have to even look good. I saw a bunch of dead bees glued to a white vase sell for good money in a gallery, skim read the link below and get cracking. If that's too hard buy a canvas from Tesco or something and throw paint on it. Modern art my friend.

Why didn't you just get some (free) education? Did you get extremely poor GCSEs or something?
There is something you can do. You're at a computer so you could start programming. If it is the case you got extremely poor GCSEs you can catch up on the maths side of things here: www.khanacademy.org/

Oadby is quiet and a pretty nice area, i enjoyed it while I was there, but I'm much closer to town now which is good. Also, you're never more than 5 minutes from a number of takeaways.

oh thats pretty cool, would be nice being closer to town tbh! i love having a conversation about my area with someone random haha

There's definitely something you can do...whether or not it will be effective, I can't tell, but what makes you think sitting on your ass all day will be just as good?

Even doing something simple like developing basic Android/IOS apps may help supplement your situation.

Dude thats nothing to worry about, only people who have jobs at that age mooched them off their parents

i did not get a job before i was 17. lack of work-experience(because i have no experience) the first one was volunteering (at 17), i did that for 1½ years(still do), then i've gotten two jobs recently, one through a mate and i sent one application and was lucky. (19).

Why isn't there anything you can do about your employment? There's always money to be made somewhere......

unless you're disabled or something....in which case I'm sorry.

It's an honest inquiry bro.

I had to make 1200 buck in a year to pay a medical bill when I was 15 (most places won't hire until you're 16 where I live), and I found a way to get the money. There's always work to be done, you just have to commit to looking for it.
User avatar #416 to #361 - negerslaktarn (07/22/2014) [-]
well im too lazy and dont have proper education... i called to a few places but they didnt need anyone to work for them so i just wonder around like a ghost, masturbating and sitting on the internet for most days. pretty chill and i will probably miss it when i finally get a job. and by the way i live in sweden so healthcare is free here...

i studied to become an electrician and it went well the first two years but the third i just gave up because i had too much **** on my shoulders so i just kind of dropped in my own **** there. i hated the school so much i would stay at home the whole day even if i overslept by 30 minutes. you could fail a whole course by just failing one test by one point so that killed my interest vastly. why would i even take time to make an essay when i knew i couldnt make it 100 percent? i just gave up and never did any essays and the last year of school i just went there, browsed funnyjunk, ate, browsed some more funnyjunk and got home to finally browse some more funnyjunk and maybe masturbate. **** sucked hard but i kept my false hope up that maybe i could get a job and a salary. now i have totally lost all hope and i am just waiting two months to recieve my welfare as you dont get any the first three months. but atleast i am planning to read up my grades this autumn because its free the first year.

What the **** , you prick. You said 'be sensitive, man. Jobs don't rain over you.' and yet here you are, having squandered your own initial chances to start a career and ******* DO something EVER. You're the insensitive bastard in this situation - you had every chance to get a job. Even now, you still do - you just may have to start lower on the ladder than you would have because you ****** up big time.

Get the **** up off your creaky, ************ computer chair and DO SOMETHING; otherwise, prepare to die unloved by others AND yourself, unwanted by humanity, never knowing if you had any potential to do something effective.

"well im too lazy and dont have proper education"
"i just gave up because i had too much **** on my shoulders"
"now i have totally lost all hope"

Seems to me it's not a matter of living a fairytale or not. It seems like you're just making an excuse to be totally ******* inept.

woops, it's coursera.org, not coursera.com
User avatar #2547 to #2531 - Logicaltightrope (07/23/2014) [-]
coursera.com

That site offers free courses created by many prestigious universities in a ton of areas (primarily in IT), including things like android app development, IOS app development, software algorithms, communication, songwriting, etc. Even things like Calculus are available, if you desire it. The courses are online with lectures available to be viewed at your leisure, so it shouldn't be impossibly stressful. It's not a degree, but the certificates you receive for passing a course can count for college credit (i believe) and are recognized by many companies; they can help you get a job that's quite a bit better than bagging groceries or similar **** .

******* do something.

You.. You are the worst kind of person. But at least you can admit it. I'm glad you don't live in 'Murica, because I would loathe even more to know that the tax dollars from my paychecks go to a lazy individual such as yourself.

How can one be so content with a life like that? You don't live, you just...exist.

Direct quote from your post, bro. You sound like an unstable mess that want's everything handed to you on a silver platter. Well, guess what? Life isn't fair, and if you want anything out of it, you have to work for it. Unless you were born from an incredibly wealthy family.
