There are a ******** of bugs. All we can hope for now is bug fixes and maybe some PC optimization. The game feels like a bad console port at the moment, what with the 60 fps lock. It's still is pretty fun at the moment though.
No problems either. 25 hours in, 2 crashes. No errors, and only 1 guy that must have put all his special points into strength cause that ************ was sitting in thin air. Also no graphics problems either. Running a 970. Absolutely blown away with the graphics.
had trouboe myself with lagging when looking around, turned off mouse acceleration and that fixed it (again, this isnt an option in-game, had to edit .ini files
Other than the accent getting in the way, his Engrish is pretty damn good. So many non native English speakers (Particularly Asian) ignore and skip over so many words but this guy seems to be on it for the most part.
Why didn't he ask what half of Germany your Sheppard was from? How is anyone supposed to feel safe when we have Communist dog packs assaulting our freedom?
It probably fought an enemy and got severed, robots and other enemies can lose armor when hit, including limbs. DEAR GOD JUMPING JUMP-SCARE GHOULS WITH NO ARMS Ghouls are terrifying in Fallout 4
I mean in Fallout: New Vegas you get shot in the head, buried, and then are dug up by a robot and survive. I don't see why (im guessing mainish character?) in animoo can't survive either
To be that guy: This isn't the show this is the third movie they did, the first two being a remake of the show.. for some reason
The bullet only grazed her, this was a gambit to make the blonde one end up breaking her ribbon, as it was keeping her from being frozen as she was connected to the black haired girl (who can stop time)
Not a fan of the movies, I like the original show but the movies just being shorter versions of it with needless changes which lead to the third movie... which I really didn't like too much
thats kind of the point. she spent most of her short air time being a bitch. like i said her personality is the only thing bad about her. i love her design and her fighting style but i just hate her personality
**selfdenyingbeggar used "*roll picture*"** **selfdenyingbeggar rolled image**I wouldn't know. depends knows, I was trying to summon her/him. She left a comment below, reply to it.
You don't need that much for gaming. 8GB is enough for most people, 16 does help a little for games like GTA 5 and multitasking. Anything more than 16 is really only for rendering, or maybe hosting servers, or just really big multitasking.
Is that even possible? I mean, why? Even 4 is usually more than enough. Although I really should get 4 more so that I can use 4GB loaders for Skyrim and other games. VRAM's not an issue because I already have a relatively decent mid-range card. Windows system processes take up almost two of the four gigs of RAM on my system alone though.
Yeah, that's still too pricey for me. Literally all of my pay is going towards rent and pills. What about 12? Three 4GB sticks should be good enough, right? I mean, my PC already runs fast enough, I only need a little extra for games.
First off to avoid any mistakes, what motherboard do you have?
Because having more than 2 sticks isn't necessary for most because when it's dual-channel you only utilize the speed of 2 (but the storage of all, of course). If that's the case it makes more sense to just get a 2x4GB or 2x8GB kit.
Ah, so literally just swap the old ****** ones out and put the new ones in the exact same spot on the same channel the old ones were on, which would be 1 and 3.
I'll have to get my grandpa to do that. He used to build PCs for a living.
First thing, get a 2x4GB kit and try using it along with the old sticks. Most times it'll work. If it doesn't, get them refunded (just say you bought the wrong type or something) and get a 2x8GB kit instead and replace the old ones.
Swapping out RAM is literally the easiest PC upgrade you can do. Open the case, put the new sticks in, make sure they're the right way (there's a notch inbetween the pins, you can tell that way), and just click them in.
i'm wondering if it would be an issue having a stick in one port and not having a matching stick in the second port, you are able to run with just two filled, that isn't an issue.
I have just over four. I can run some recent games, but I couldn't run Shadow of Mordor or Watchdogs on my PC, and Dying Light was a no-go as well.
I think that has more to do with optimization than anything, because I can run games that are comparable to those, even some more recent ones, so I don't really know.
Huh. Funny, on medium with Fallout 4 I usually get 50-60 FPS. On older BethSoft games I get 60 on Ultra. Even with Skyrim, although it dips depending on the location.
Doesn't Seem like it would be a very reliable computer for day to day purposes outside of gaming. You'd have to be sacrificing something. standard Laptops and Desktops that can't game worth a **** aren't still $400-$800 dollars for no reason
what?
Computing has come a long way, I could built a $150 computer that normies couldn't tell apart from a $2000 one.
Browsing the internet isn't resource intensive at all, the only thing that would be different is processing intensive programs.
The reasons you're having trouble finding good computers in your price range is because you're looking at prebuilts, buying parts and building it yourself is the much better & cheaper way. With black friday coming up you should be able to find huge deals on parts, way more than you'd get from any prebuilt.
Well I'm no Charlatan. I admit whole-heartedly that I do not know what a great computer is, what goes into it, and what parts are better than others. I've had the same HP Envy laptop for almost 3 years and can't even play Binding of Isaac without the vents burning a hole in my desk. Am I interested in having a PC that can game well and also handle typical day to day while I get through College? absolutely. But I just don't know enough about it, nor do I have much expendable income
Any computer that can handle games well will be 10000x more than you need for daily tasks.
A cheap laptop for taking notes etc, is all you really need for college and you can buy an entry desktop pc that is better than consoles will ever be, and upgradable on the cheap so it will stay better.
my computer costs approx. $600 right now (originally was 1200... canadian) until the recent .ini edit, I couldn't break 30fps unless i was standing in the corner of a dark room. combat, was at best 12 fps. and the game would freeze up after about an hour of play.
Please post the build you are talking about that can max anygame though, cause I am planning to upgrade soon.
ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/CPws23 what I have, except for the video card, I have the 5770, which doesn't have a price right now.
I definitely don't recommend getting that graphics card, if this is your budget spend ~100 on a processor so you'll have more for getting a good card.
an FX-6300 could be a good starting point, and it'd give you enough to get a gtx 960.
Cheap out on everything and pump as much money as possible into the graphics card, it's far more important to FPS than any other part.
also make sure to get an unlocked processor. On intel cpus it is shown by a "K" at the end of the name (I5-4460k) and most (if not all) amd cpus are unlocked by default. This lets you overclock them to get better performance on a budget cpu, so it's definitely worth the extra few bucks.
if you already have a desktop, just buy a graphics card.
You don't need to get a whole new pc, instead you should buy a gtx 970/980 and an SSD since you don't have one. Instant beast computer for $400.
Black friday is in a few weeks also, so if you wait you can prolly get a 970 for ~250ish on amazon.
It's unoptimized as **** , tho. One would think it would run fine on a toaster, but it actually takes a pretty solid pc just to run it at 30fps on low.
It gets better once once you get used to the differences between fallout 3 and fallout 4. At first I was dissappointed aswell because I hated the new dialogue system which is buggy and annoying sometimes so you sort of have to adjust to its crapfactor. But once you start to get invested in the story and the adventures you set out for yourself in becomes great. At least that is my expierence so far. I played this game for 10 hours now and at the moment I'm having just as much fun playing as I was when I first played Fallout 3.
I guess you're right man, im only three hours in!
the thing that annoyed me the most was probably the voice acting of the main protagonist, it so wierd! I have also experienced alot of bugs and glitches, but i can overlook those!
Me too mostly I just popped by some vendors to see what they offered for armor because I was tried of my character looking like he stepped out of vanilla WoW
I felt like doing a female character, so I just booted one up, but on my last save, I used my Power Armor a lot, until I got a brand new set of T-60b Power Armor by joining the Brotherhood of Steel and becoming a Knight, which you do automatically, for some reason. , it's pretty fun, though the thing I loved doing most with my power armor was when I used the first set you get from the Museum of Freedom, the T-45d, to walk across the Glowing Sea.
The only real reason I used it is so I could slap on some Minuteman paint to raise my Charisma a little bit, this female character I made has better charisma, but my older save, Joe, is as about as charismatic as a Radscorpion.
Which is to say, he can kill low-level people in one hit. 10 Strength master race.
Redberg's fresh outta cryostasis and ready to flip some coins, and smash some heads. Strength 8, perception 1, endurance 4, charisma 1, int of 9, agility 3, and luck 7.
Redberg's been places, seen some **** , and doesn't like to talk about it.
I usually play him as a crazy old man, but I had to make some compromises with the voiced character.
I haven't gotten too much into the role playing part of it, as in I haven't thought of a role for Joe, yet, other than a man trying to find his son, and will level anyone with this trusty laser musket named "Dream Street".
I've been trying to get into the role-playing with my female character, whom I've named, "Rosie McCracken", a former bomb girl and fight club champion.
And yeah that's all I got.
This ******* game man, it's gonna take me ages, and I can see me playing through this as much as I did New Vegas, even though New Vegas will forever be my number one favorite, it got me into the series and it had the best ******* DJ.
