That wheelchair thing looks like it could go horribly horribly wrong

The post was nice and all but I dislike when people see one act of kindness and are like "Durr faith in humanity restored!" Then see one thing like "swag" and say "UMG I've lost all faith in humanity"

I was going to be 'that guy' and bitch about how made up a 72-hour shift was.

Thankfully, before I made an asshat of myself, I looked that **** up... And they really do work 72-hour shifts in some places (You've got a bed, food, television, etc., but still.)

My respect for firemen just went way the hell up.

Depends on the context.

One person backing out in that situation wouldn't have made that much of a difference.

Sorry for being that guy, it's just "the weakest link" doesn't apply in this situation ^^

Isn't it easier to just grab a child and put it on a normal swing than putting a whole wheelchair on a special swing?
#58 - Leopard (12/05/2013) [+] (9 replies)
This stupid **** .

Normal swings... you can sit down on normal swings.. crippled or not.

This.. this just overcomplicated everything.

that sounds like the start to a really bad joke
"how many crippled children does it take to get into a swing set?"

Most of these were nice, and had a small amount of feels, but that 9/11 one...That's truly something beyond the normal charitable or kind act. It hit me hard...

Am I the only one who is seriously ******* annoyed by this? I mean the good deeds are awesome, but i'm talking about the amount of self righteous bitching and moaning that goes on here when somebody on facebook says something stupid or something. "hurr i've lost faith in humanity" oh please, remind me of all the wonderful things you've done to better the human race.

How many times did I pass up the chance to be someone's hero for the day simply because I didn't see the opportunity or my natural timidity got in the way.

Small question...the guy who donated bone did he know the need was there? She's a complete stranger, right? I don't know when a complete stranger needs marrow. They don't advertise it in the paper. Either he had to go looking, which doesn't make sense, or the girl's family had to ask him, which makes a little more sense, but is still a bit ridiculous. Seriously, how would he have known the need to make the sacrifice? Does it report that, because it's seriously confusing.
