come on man. it's not classy to complain about people thumbing you down.
entire point of the thumb system is for people to weigh in on your joke. I thought it was funny but some people won't.
I wasn't being thumbed down for the joke as far as I'm aware.
Typically when people don't enjoy a joke on here, as in it doesn't make them laugh, they just ignore it. But when they are actually insulted or just annoyed by something said, then they thumb down. So when I get thumbed down, I'm mostly curious what I said that was wrong rather than wondering if my joke was bad.
Couldn't really care less if my joke was bad, but sometimes I feel like I miss something. That's all I actually care about. <(' '<);
A majority don't, so I'll use the 'majority rules.' Some people thumb you down just for existing, after all. I've also had people claim I'm a theme account and need to be thumbed down. Then I have people who just don't like me and thumb me down, sort of like you. (>' ')>
While it's possible that's the only reason I was thumbed down, and thus making it so I don't actually care/mind, I highly doubt it. When you get thumbed down twice just moments after making a comment... Well, it's usually not just because of a bad joke.
regardless of why you were thumbed down (and I'm pretty sure it was just because they thought your joke was bad) it's still not classy to complain about thumbs.
It wasn't a complaint, it was honest confusion. There is a difference. The reason I even mentioned it is because I was thumbed down quickly and I was wondering if I had said something that insulted someone, somehow.
Which is typically the case when I am thumbed down that quickly.
Considering how much of a stickler you are with some things, like this situation in particular, I'd say you're probably both...
And wondering what I did wrong is not one of those things that 'shouldn't be questioned.' There isn't really a lot that shouldn't be questioned anyways. But think whatcha want, I'm done carin' what you think 'bout this situation.
