We tried taking my four year old cousin to the doctor. but he started
throwing a temper tantrum because he want to go. We tried telling
him that going to the doctors sattire wouldn' t just make him healthier, but it
would make it safer to be around other people as well. But when you' re in
full tantrum made, you just say no to everything. The whale car ride we'
been offering him other things that are good for him, some of which he
would even like, But he didn' t get his war it' sjust "No, no, naoo!' to
everything. And now that we' re right outside the doctor’ s office. he' s decided
he' s just going to go limp " we have to struggle with him while he doesn' t
do anything. No wait, hang on. Sorry, I accidentally typed ‘my four year old
coo sin" instead of "half of Cong resse And it also seems I mistakenly typed,
The whole on ride," Instead of "Ever since Obama was elected." My had.

I'm not for ObamaCare but what congress is doing is childish and stupid.

people blaming a single party are part of the ******* problem it is exactly this kind of divisive partisanship that has us in this ******* mess in the first place. But please continue blaming everything on republicans in a pathetic attempt to make yourself appear intelligent.

Democracy is a great system, but two-party democracy is how to get nothing done fast.

The founding fathers(mostly) were strongly against a 2-party system, because they feared the parties would spend all their effort fighting each other rather than advancing the nation. . .
Looks like the group of brilliant people was right

I'm confused, what's so terrible about universal healthcare?

See, as a Canadian, I understand the desire to want a Universal Healthcare system. The obscene wait times make it worth it. But in all honest, America doesn't have the money for it. They're so far in the red, I don't think they know what the black looks like. If the White House was smart, they'd suspend the ObamaCare, get back on their feet, and then go. You don't buy a Ferrari if you're living in a box.

Obamacare isn't universal healthcare, it still relies on insurance to work.

If Obamacare is so ******* fantastic according to our POTUS, then why the **** is he exempting himself and people who back him from it? Wouldn't you expect him to be first in line for this **** ?

See, the problem we're facing is that the majority of Congress is two far-winged either way to stand agreeing with the other. The reason for this? Every middle-ground person is sick of politics and has no desire to become involved in them.

I honestly don't know if you can be a critically thinking person and blame every problem that our country has on one person. Or even one party for that matter. Anyone that is extreme left OR extreme right is in idiot. You can't possibly be so single minded to think that there is only one way to run a country.

Congress since Bush.

The Republicans have the majority in The House while Democrats have majority in Congress. The bill is approved by Congress but The House wont pass it until there are some changes. I.e. as of now Congress is exempt from the bill. Idk about you but I don't want my leaders exempted from something I have to pay.

well this obamacare **** is forcing people to opt into a system that they dont want to be in. Also, if you want better coverage then you have to pay a fine to be with another health care provider. It is literally taking from the wealthy and giving to the poor, and that is socialist.

Socialism discourages hard work and does less to advance society. Think of it in the most simple way possible as a person living in a socialist society:

If you were to get the same reward at the end of the day, not dependent on the amount of work you did, what would motivate you to work hard?

The answer sadly, is that most people will not work hard if they are not going to be explicitly rewarded for their extraordinary work. This is the reason why many European countries have waned away from socialist government structures.

I don't know enough about the inner workings of the government to bitch about it as much as everyone else I know.
