Extreme Paraglider Bird Strike Accident

A very unique paragliding accident involving a bird strike / collision, or more specifically a vulture, into a paraglider in the Himalayn mountains (Bir Billing).
Vultures are frequent in the area and it is best to yell as soon as you see them anywhere near you or in your thermal.

I had an instance where I was going up and about to enter into a cloud with two vultures yelling random absurdities like, 'BLAAAAAAA' , 'PPPPKKAAAAAWWWW', 'EYYYYYYYYYOOOOO' the whole way up to make sure they knew where I was.Just before the cloud visibility got very poor we all parted ways. A friend flying near by said it was one of the funniest most unusual ascents to cloud bases he'd ever witnessed.

The thing that anyone that has flown there will tell you, is that when they are flying they are looking for prey down below so they are not looking around at you or where they are going all the time - also these vultures are very big and like to hang out near wings on occasion.
