Not to be rude or anything (actually, yeah, I'm trying to be a bit rude), but that semicolon was not appropriate. You should have used a comma as the first part was not a complete clause; see, it only contained a subject and no predicate. See how that one works? Both sides of the semicolon were complete clauses with subjects AND predicates. You should use them when you have two complete clauses that are so related to each other, you cannot possibly think of using a whorish period to separate them.
Hardly, pleb. A dash is used if you're adding additional information onto your sentence: an incomplete (or complete) clause added to a complete clause. It's much like a colon, but colons are used particularly if the thing you're going to say has to do with what was just stated, but can be used to introduce incomplete clauses and lists; therefor, something different and coolier than a semicolon. His is a case of an incomplete clause before a complete clause, warranting a comma.
But these kinds of things are only really necessary if you want to please your college professor and isn't that important in the real life. But this ain't the real life, bitch. This the internet. Be what you want to be and do what you want to do, as long as you don't make me look bad.
dashes can be used as:
Independent clause—thought—independent clause.
Independent clause—thought.
Independent clause--dependent thought.
Dependent clause--independent clause.
A comma would also work in this case; however, a dash would make it read better.
I think there's an option that allows you to duck so you're in "stealth mode" and if you move, you walk like this.
It's been a while since last time I played that so I don't really remember.
Priceless. I cringed thinking about all the people who have no idea what he's doing though. For the few who did, truly something to behold. A real human bean
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure most people recognize the character, but do most people recognize what specifically it is referring to? The walk you can make Ezio do? I've played all the Assassin's Creed games and have just now seen the specific reference
I think I made fun of it in Revelations or something. Played them all except for IV. I think that one guy at the end of the video got it, but I'm sure everyone is just laughing at the Ezio thing because they know Assassin's Creed.
Hey, let's be thankful for at least that much, right?
I forgot since I haven't played any of the games for a while, I only played up to revelations I haven't played Black flag and Assassin's creed three. I don't remember.... Sorry
So did I for a while. Then I learned it was actually called walking the dinosaur. I refuse to call it that though. I always referred to it as chicken walking, and I always will.
Me and three other buddies dressed up as Assassin's and used pencils and rubber bands to make hidden blades and "assassinated" other students all year. We had our Assassin Bureau in the ceiling as a bunch of catwalks were up there.
But it's explained in the gif
He's copying something from the game. I don't see why you're having a hard time understanding this. If you don't find it funny then it's a whole different matter, I understood it and it wasn't funny at all.
I don't understand why he is walking like that. He is copying something from the game, but I don't know what that type of walk means. Is he stealth walking, glitch walking, crouch walking, etc?
It still doesn't explain why he is walking like that. The only thing I can concur is the player is holding down the run/sprint button and only taking one step at a time. Thus causing him to walk in a odd way. All of this is a theory.
What are you on about.
Man made funny video of funny walking in game.
Man copies funny walk in real life convention.
This is one of those "OH I GET IT" types of humor, I seriously cannot make this any clearer to you. You don't need to understand what sequence of buttons he's pressing to walk like that, it's a funny walk that's it.
