I was in Japan for 3 weeks and here are some fun facts.
1.)If you live near a coast area. you will see hundreds of scuba divers. and snorkelers.
2.) Eating at a restaurant is kind of annoying because the only restaurants that have free refills charge about 500 yin which is about 5 dollars for one drink. so you mostly drink water there.
3.) This is one of my favorite things. you know how you'll be eating and the waiter comes and sort of interrupts you or you need the waiter and he doesn't come. well they have buttons in Japan that will call the waiter to you for whatever reason. otherwise they won't come.
4.) People wear hygiene masks a lot so everyones a germaphobe over there.
5.) Of course you've heard they have mcdonalds over there but what you don't know is that they cook their food when you order it so everything is way fresher, however they do have odd food at their Mcdonalds including fried chicken, hot dogs, and corbin bleu sandwiches.
Where the hell do normal restaurants have free refills? I´m german, I´ve been in England, Malta, Denmark, Italy, Austria, Swizerland, Spain, Norway, Sweden, etc, etc and I´ve never been to a restaurant other then fastfood chains where refills were possible.
Agreed. I'd say free refills are even implied. If I'm at a restaurant I assume free refills unless they have something explicitly stating that they're not.
Even some movie theatres have free refills, but that's not super common.
