Im sorry friend but I believe you're wrong on this one. The teachings and sayings of Muhammed is what we call the sunnah. This is different from the Quran because it isnt the word of God.
The Quran itself was memorized by the Muslims and was passed down from generation to generation. The same Quran we have today is the same we had all the way back to the time of the Prophet. There is no such thing as "versions" of the Quran but there are different ways of pronouncing the same words (which have the same meaning). The Quran was completely revealed to Muhammed during his lifetime and there hasn't been any addition to it since.
If I am somehow misunderstanding something, please do educate me. I would love to learn. Thanks.
