1: government by the people
- as if people have any choice in who gets into office
2: political or social equality
- we dont have that either
3: the common people with respect to their political power
- most people are ******* idiots who are easily herded towards ideals set by others and have no idea about what theyre supporting
if you're in a bar that means the other people in the bar are okay with alcohol, thus not a nuisance to other people. now if you go to a children's park or a school and start drinking people aren't there because they want to drink, which would mean you're being a nuisance to other people
don't go to the smoking area if you're not a smoker
smoking outside isn't a problem... there doesn't exist better ventilation
a lot of **** smells bad but we're not banning Axe sprays any time soon
if a smoker's smoke goes your way, tell them. We don't want or like to put people through smoke just as much as you do.
I don't choose to interact with these people. They shove themselves into my business by being so disgusting.
This isn't about them smoking in their own home, although that does play a part since they always smell bad,
This is primarily about people who smoke in public.
I've addressed the people that smoke in public part. They shouldn't be a nuisance unless you're making them out to be, or they're just douchebags. Normally, anyone with any shred of decency won't practically blow their smoke in other people's faces.
As for the smell, I'm sorry about the filthy smokers you hang out with over there where you live, but around here we make sure our clothes don't stink of smoke. The only instance where the smell is a problem is when I go to clubs that obligate me to absorb all that putrid stench and those clothes stay on me until I get home and put them to wash. Even when we smoke indoors, the room is really well ventilated, and the only way for smoke to get in your clothes and stay there is if you've been sitting in it for a while.
are you illiterate and just guessing what I'm typing, because I sure as hell didn't say you can't smell smoke when someone is smoking... there's really no point to this discussion anymore. Start a campaign wherever you're from for people to start washing properly. Good. Day. Sir.
The problem is that there's nothing quiet about smoking. If it didn't smell so terrible, I wouldn't care. I wouldn't even care that much about the health concerns. But since it does stink, and it's unhealthy, smoking in public is an absolute nuisance.
Cause if you're trying to wait for the bus and some asshole decides to light up a cigarette and stays right next to you, or even worse they stay inside the shelter (where it's against the rules to smoke), then suddenly you have to inhale their 2nd hand smoke, you might start coughing, it'll stink up your clothes, etc.
I'm sorry, I know most people go with the idea of it's their business with smoking but I hate people who smoke at bus stops. If you are going to feed your habit, go away from the bus stop. Those places are filled with people including little kids and students. The smoke goes everywhere and everyone is glaring at the smoker.
Yep. I hate smoking, but nothing is worse than people carelessly smoking near others. Wanna kill yourself and make yourself stink? Whatever, but don't make others suffer.
Ironically, i got a sinus infection two days ago and i feel like **** , i smoked from the time i was 12 till i was 15 and 17 until a little after my 19th birthday, and rarely got sick while i was a smoker.
City implemented some GPS tracking **** that tells you exactly when the next bus or tram arrives. Really helpful, especially when a tram is broken and you don't waste your time waiting.
