Quick tip I learned about writing essays.

Use quotes.
Use all the quotes.

Don't write your essay. Make everyone else write it for you.

Then when you have an essay of quotes, fill in the blank spots with your own words.

Bam. Smart looking essay, for the least effort you can muster.

Do you have any idea how much effort it takes to find a ******* of relevant quotes? Unless you're writing an essay in a remedial class it's going to take much more effort to find 25 solid quotes than to write your own thoughts and opinions on a paper.

That being said, powerful quotes from reliable sources do go a long way in strengthening your paper and should be used whenever possible.

i ********** every essay i ever wrote, i once ansered an essay answer of if we agreed with hitler(killing of the jews, etc) or not(for an ethics class), i answered with "i am inbetween, while i do not think the slaughter of millions of people was correct, i do understand what drove him to do it on a cultural level" i then bs'd 5 paragraphs on that subject and got an 105% on the entire test, because i was the only one who looked at it from the point of view of someone other than a student in a classroom, taking a test.

>Did not clearly state thesis
>Did not introduce two or three arguments supporting thesis
>Only used one quotable reference
>Thought that using a goddam metaphor in the opening sentence would impress the teacher.
>Thought that the teacher wouldn't check the spark-notes of the work they are studying for students trying to plagiarize

If OP were my student I would fail the **** out of him.

I'm still going to have to do some type of English class though...

Yeah good luck with that, most 'Schools of Technology' just charge you up the ass for a degree that means nothing. As a rule of thumb, if the credits don't transfer, the degree doesn't actually mean ****.

And, yes, you'll still have to do some sort of English course, though it's usually a joke, like most 'School of Technology' classes.

How on earth have you been striving for a college for nearly a decade?

Colleges don't give a **** about anything that happens until you get to high-school level, and ya sure as hell don't have to 'strive' to pass in middle school. If you spent a decade in highschool, I got bad news for you...

Alright bro, chill out
When I was like 8 or 9 I heard about my uncle going to this school and I talked to him about it (I believe he's a mechanical engineer). At the time I thought "Hot damn I wanna go there" and I still do. I've always loved science (mainly chemistry and physics) and recently I've fallen for computer programming. So yeah, I've wanted to go ever since and now I'm applying soon. Sorry you feel so strongly towards these topics :c

You really are still in grade school if a few '****** and '****** thrown in there make you think I 'feel strongly.' Cynicism, sarcasm, and foul language are par for the course in most 2AM internet conversations. I was just giving you fair warning that any school where credits don't transfer doesn't mean **** in the real job market, unless you get lucky and find someone equally unaware of how worthless the degree is to hire you (few employers are that stupid.). Tech schools students have an obscenely low chance of actually working in their field when they finish college.

Yes, okay, mhm... you have my complete trust.
I will now choose a different school because a stranger on the internet told me what I'm doing is pointless.
Yes I shall definitely do that.
Thank you for opening my eyes good sir.
Seriously though what do expect to gain by telling me these things? :3

Nothing.

Just want you to realize how many people warned you (as I won't be the only one) when you're working a dead-end job in a few years because you copped out and went to a technical school instead of a real university.

You were the one that started this conversation, and it was relevant to explain why it doesn't matter that a tech-school English class is easier. Because a tech-school English class, like the other classes, is worthless.

No, this defiantly still flies in college English courses 200+.
Only difference is some might switch up format.
I had to finish my last three English papers in AP instead of MLA

No, this definitely doesn't.

And if you can't spell 'definitely' you're 'defiantly' not in a 200+ English course at any accredited school.
