God I ******* hated that boss. The golem dude was a Howe guard compared to her.
Spits at you with poison while her tentacles wrap you up in an unblockable attack and she send a bunch of darkspawn after you
I had problems with the Broodmother, the High Dragon After defeating the one from the mountain, I was in better shape to defeat Flemeth and the last boss. None of the final bosses from the fractions were any trouble, which is strange.
In the second game, it was annoying with the high dragon flying around and spawning those younglings. It would get into a spot where my archer's arrows/spells barely did anything, and my warriors went from one direction to the other, not having time to attack before it moved. The other bosses weren't tough either. There was nothing special about them other than they had a large health and spent a lot of time going from one person to the other.
The second wasn't a great game to be fair. It was fun, but lacked the depth and care of Origins.
Yeah there was always a boss fight before the main boss that was trickier. Like the Sloth demon in the Mage tower, that was a cool inventive level.
I was talking about the main bosses of the game (Arcane and that red lyriam woman). All they really did was go after one of your characters and spawn creatures, while the high dragon of that game landed on the mountain and attacked from long distances.
Oh, sorry, I misunderstood. Yeah, I found this good spot for my archer and just kept dodging the attacks. It took me a while, since people kept suggesting to hit this one area with my warriros (like the legs, or something) and that they wouldn't be hit... Yeah...didn't work...
If I recall, the High Dragon can hit every adjacent spot in melee with either a tail-slap, fire, or a wing-bash. That's why I equipped all of my melee guys with ****** bows, then had Wynne heal while I blasted her with Drain Life and other spells. Arcane Warrior ftw.
I sent Sten and Allistar to their deaths in order to keep the High Dragon's focus off my character and Wynne. But I had this setting on where she kept running closer in order to heal/attack, leaving me with just my character. Overall, I have a hard time controlling all of the characters, and I'm usually just left with one in fights like this. I'm thinking about making another run to avoid deaths as much as possible.
Try messing around with their AI just before you go into combat. IF that fails, you can set everyone to stand still no matter what with the Halt command. It's pretty useful, especially during the final battle against the Archdemon. You can park someone at each balista.
Will have to keep it in mind next time. I just switched all my tactics to either heals or attacks. And it was alright for a good portion of the game. I'm just not that great with making strategies and using special/non attack moves.
I never finished the second game, I got kinda bored towards the end. The plot didn't interest me that much, the character interactions and dialogue was great though.
I will replay the first, but I will rather input different events in the Keep than replay the second. You were forced to go into the same area over and over again, the first game, it was randomize.
I can't get into the third game. Everything just seemed to annoy me. From the character design (being where a mistake can really make your character look unnatural, voices not fitting the body (quari), the body not fitting a powerful being (elf), etc.), and button layout (they changed how to pick your characters and the dialogue is much more smaller (I have bad vision so it sucked when the words kept blending in together)). Overall, I just had a bad first impression, that I'm going to wait a while before starting again. From what I can tell, it's not a bad game. I just seriously need to think of it different than the first/second game.
And it will be all my fault, because I've been designing and planning one for years. I've even been getting help from my teachers, peers, and people online. I just lie about what the specific part is for, or ask something so generic that its uses are ambiguous. People are proud of me, and think I should go to college and work for NASA or something.
Hmm...... If you made it out of some rubber like material, had a device in it to warm it up, and gave it pores so it would self lubricate then I could see it working.
Well, the creative and sexy parts are fun and all, but the hardest task right now is to make it safe. There has to be NO possibility at all for this machine to harm people. And, the more degrees of freedom a machine has, the more dangerous it becomes. Hence, you see a lot of drawing robots suddenly do this siezure/homicide stabbing motion thing. That becomes even more scary when the machine that's malfunctioning is inside of you, where just one bit of pressure or one inch too far in the wrong direction means pain and death.
It's really a non trivial task, regarding both the mechanics and the AI. Especially since it has to be made of resources that are easy to access and already exist in the form I need, as I'm not a bigtime manufacturer.
So, regarding that, I'm not even entirely sure if I'll finish the project, really. So many snags, and such a short amount of time on earth. I only mentioned I was working on it because I was drunk, cocky, and felt the need to confess.
Although, I never thought about self lubricating pours though. I'm definitely going to take note of that.
That idea is pretty sexy, and actually a bit of an incentive to finish the project. I just don't know how I'd make that process controllable, though.
this is a great thing anon
as much as i hate to admit it i woul love to watch that thing do its work on more than a few girls i know. and i know a few more that would like it.
Well, by nature, that's a hard issue to tackle. And I've been putting a lot of thought into it.
Probably the most important thing to point out is that consent isn't quantifiable. There isn't a way I can think of to present to the machine, without error, that you want to make love, or that you urgently want it to stop what it's doing immediately. Unless you have a remote control that has, "Stop," and, "Go," on it.
But then, to be honest, it's really not an authentic experience if you dictate what the tentacles do. It negates half of the fetish, and also turns the machine into something of an overly complex dildo if it doesn't make its own decisions. The interaction between you and the tentacles should be personal and sincere.
One solution that's gone through my mind has to do with it being a regular companion. It's build around an AI after all, and the AI is based on some fairly modern deep learning algorithms and human neural networks, so the decision of implementing this feature is almost a no brainer anyway. Once that's in place, the machine will naturally learn about your personality and your social cues. Such as, most importantly, whether it's a good time to 'play' or not.
Of course though, this is all much easier said than done. There's still a lot of snags, and physical dangers, coming for me down the pipeline.
In the end, there will definitely be a solution to the consent issue. I just need to find a way to keep it fun.
It's getting a lot better since fenoxo's been updating it. There's a trap character that you can set out to turn in to a tavern whore now. Basically, I'm set.
its also a visual representation of whats enough to get you off through life
first its "oh my god a pretty girl ugh"
then "oh my god BOOOOBS"
then "VAGINAS"
then "right...okay theres tentacles, shes a redhead, annnnd she looks like shes got some latina in...okay thisll work
GTA4 TLAD has a politician showing his willie in a cutscene and GTA5 has nudists roaming around near beaches i believe.
I also think RDD has some as well. Could be wrong.
