Now there's a cool concept for a game... **** it, better just make some flappy bird clone with microtransactions, because that's the kind of stuff that brings in the money
Scribblenauts is pretty cool, but it isn't in the same type of idea of this. What I meant was like indirectly editing models and playing with the idea of reversing action and consequence (in this case instead of a lack of tree meaning a lack of shadow, a lack of shadow would force a lack of tree).
Scribblenauts by what I've seen through "let's play"s and other various snippets is more like kind of a 2d garry's mod, you're just summoning whole objects.
Man, I just downloaded the unreal engine thinking maybe I can play around with it and make something functional. Someday maybe I'll have something resembling a game and I'll make this a mechanic.
I thought that when he said contrast he meant the game had nice contrast in its presentation or something. I dunno. I didn't realize that was the game's name.
They had a game for the wii called Lost in Shadow. Which had a shadow manipulating gameplay mechanic. Not quite "erase the shadow" more like use lights to create shadows that you could use. Pretty interesting concept...not great reviews. Trailer Sauce
Why did he start running from the tree in the first place, he was at the base of the tree, he could easily see what direction it was starting to fall in and have plenty of time to take 2 steps left
