>open men's library
>all is well, men reading happily in peace
>suddenly police come round
>say you refused service to a woman
>point them to the sign, "The Mens' Library"
>"That's discrimination, sir, you have to let her in"
>Later
>Try to enter women's library
>Librarian points you to sign.
>"That's discrimination"
>"Women need safe spaces"
>Wat.exe
>see women's library
>go inside, tell them you identify as female
>they refuse you
>call police
>sir these women are oppressing me
>don't worry sir, we'll handle this.
>women are forced to sell you books, smile whole time or get thrown in jail for bigotry
"don't worry sir"
Excuuuuse me. Did that police officer call me "sir". Mind my pronouns you cis white scum. My preferred pronouns are xir/xest/xerflop.
OMGoddess, I'm so triggered right now. I need a safe space. Better clear that library for me so that I can use it as a safe space.
"Goddess"?!?
I'll have you know that I'm a quatro-gendered pansexual Olympiankin godself, and your forcing of binary genders on deities is offensive, you mortal ******** !
They actually do sometimes. If a book hasn't been checked out for a certain amount of time it's taken off the shelves and sold with a bunch of other books.
Actually some of them do. The public library for the city I live in runs a book store inside which they use to get rid of old inventory to make room for newer books, and whatever isn't sold is just donated.
I am pretty sure they would let a man in. I imagine they are just catering to a niche market, and there is nothing wrong with that. It is no different than having a Christian bookstore or sci-fi section at Barnes and Noble.
Maybe they'd feel it isnt worth the bother because they'd be made to feel pedantic, maybe the courts would undermime their issue and humiliate them, make them feel demasculated just for reporting it?
Or perhaps men wouldn't want to read books from this library, as it would be filled with love story **** books. You know, the stuff that a lot of woman read?
I think men are missing out on such great learning and growing experiences as reading "Twilight" and "Fifty Shades of Grey", not to mention all the feminist hate speech literature.
I mean how else are men going to find out that women are total whores as long as they're doing it with an alpha?
Well yeah, but (and forgive me for sounding a bit like a feminazi here) is that really up to them to judge? I mean, what if you have guys who like that sappy **** ? Wouldn't it be better to keep those books in a specified section of a universal library instead of making it women's only? Libraries are for public use after all, so it only seems fitting to have them for the whole public.
Granted, there's nothing here to suggest that men are restricted from using this library, but even so, I'd feel a bit weird being a man going into a library called "The Women's Library". Idk. Maybe I should just **** off or something.
You sound like the opposite of a feminazi. "Men wouldn't like these books" is a stupid statement.
People are allowed to like whatever they want and shouldn't be expected to, nor exclusively allowed to, read books that have been gendered by societal norms perpetuated by morons.
>Be me
> walking by book store one afternoon
> remember feminist girl I konow telling me to try reading more feminist liturature.
> walking into store
> walk over to womens liturature section of store \
>see odd red book on shelf in the feminist section
>decide to read it
> title says "SCUMM MANIFESTO "
> start reading
> with in first paragrah it says "All men are rapists and murders"
>look at row sign on top of shelf
> reads "Feminist, Non Ficton"
> frown on shenigans
> take book and place it in fantasy fiction section
>leave store
